If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Non Nightfall SX Prestige Waiting Room

7/20 or 7/21 I don't have the detail sheet in front of me right now.

Then you should be any day now. It seems like just about all the ones watching with July dates are getting filled during this latest ramp up of production. Hopefully some good news in the coming days.

Pretty wild - 2 Boss moss/Dune Brown SXP VIN#s issued to the dealer on the same day. Will likely be on the same truck - will be a pretty site.

I wonder if the other one is for someone who is on these forums...?

Body is supposed to go in per build schedule.

How long after the body went on the line did you get your VIN?
Jersey, quick question. I have searched and tried to find the answer. When does a "build schedule" get generated? My dealer says they entered the order yesterday via their allocation, and says it takes 24hrs to process. I understand somewhat the timing for the VIN, but when can my order expect to receive a "Build Schedule"?

Not sure - this is a good question for the dealers here.

I asked for the build schedule a few weeks after I got an order # / allocation picture.

I think my VIN showed up on failcat today too! Now I'm going to direct all of my positive energy toward the transportation process in hopes of getting it on time or even earlier than my current ETA.

I **think** I found my window sticker on our favorite site. It has the options that match what I ordered. Now I'm waiting for the dealer to call and tell me wassup before I count my chickens...

I got an email from my salesperson today! They confirmed the 11/2 ETA. Tick Tock...

Updated with the latest failcat data. SXP production is going strong now!

Congrats!!! Finally! Now the more intense but shorter waiting game begins!
I'm at ease now - 11/10 is 4ish weeks away. If it comes early great. If not - I'll wait.

For me the most stressful part was going from "in line" to order #.

SXP Production keeps on trucking.... @PassingTime have you gotten your VIN yet?

Man, these production numbers and how many people got their VINs yesterday makes me so freaking hopeful that I might get mine sooner than my ETA. 8 months is too long. Crossing my fingers!

As long as KIA doesn't do another Nightfall heavy run you should be good. What we still don't know yet is how much the ramp up for the new Sorento is going to impact production at the plant. I can't help but think Telluride production might suffer a bit in the coming months as they ramp up Sorento inventory. I'm sure they don't want to have a similar situation on their even higher volume selling midsize SUV. They need a flawless launch on the Sorento to keep their sales momentum going.
