Some useful features I’ve seen:
- Remote Start from anywhere if your phone and car has cell service. While being able to set climate temp.
- Schedule the car to remote start (two timepoints max)
- Remotely lock/unlock from anywhere
The rest of the features are alerts:
- Car was left unlocked
- Rear occupant detection (ie. forgot your kid)
- Valet alert
- Geofence alert
- Speed alert
- Recall alert
- Car systems malfunction detected
All of these functions need to be paid for 2nd most expensive subscription plan when your 1 year trial ends. The most expensive plan allows you to remote start using Alexa/Google Assistant.
UVO will also track your trips (locations, distance and avg speed) Which could be a con depending on how you look at it.
As a 2021 owner you don’t really need to activate UVO since remote start is on the FOB. Only real world benefit would probably be internet search for points of interest using the UVO navigation. If you use it.
