• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... While having my 15k maintenance done, the dealership noticed a ton of little rust spots all over my hatchback. We mainly garage kept our vehicle and have had it about 1.5 years. They brought it to the district managers attention and we are waiting to see what they are going to do. Just wondering if anyone else has had any issues?

Any pics?

Yes they were. I always have such problems, because I buy white cars and you can see it all on them. By the way, it's time for your dealer to retire, it is strange that the specialists do not know this. These are metal shavings from brakes and road debris. it sticks into the paint and starts to rust. It is advisable to polish for the car periodically. In theory, if the shavings pierce the paint and reach the metal, then after many years there will be rust from the rust point, but this is unlikely.
