• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I'll be using the Telluride for weekly 3 hour weekend trips to the mountains. I've read people having issues with smells and off gas. Wanted to see your experiences on if you do long drives, if you've noticed smells, and did it go away?

In my 9 months of ownership I have never experienced any unusual smells. My Telly has been through below freezing winters and scorching summer weather. If it were to produce smells I think I would have noticed by now. This is for SXP interior trim materials (nappa leather and suede/microfiber headliner). Other trim materials could differ? I haven’t come across any complaints about smells though. Besides the Pallisade’s smell-gate topic.

About every other month....do a 436 mile run and have never had any smells.

I have noticed musty smells. It was over the summer. I thought it had to do with the a/c, but I'm not sure. I did change the cabin filter, but it was fairly clean and now the weather is cooler so I have not run the a/c. The smell has not returned, but I don't know why.

If you unleash hell with the ventilated seat on, you can gas out the entire cabin in seconds. Remember to hit that window lock button!
