• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I ordered this vehicle in November/2019 and finally took delivery last Monday09/28. It absolutely breaks my heart to sell, but I have a back condition cannot get comfortable. Oddly enough, I did not have this issue in my 2019 VW Atlas. Nonetheless, I must list the vehicle for sale.

I have added the Telluride OEM all weather mats, rear cargo mat (carpet and rubberized). Also, the vehicle has been rebadged with the Klexus 3.0 badges (photos in the listing don't show this, as I just completed it yesterday).

Make me an offer. If you are willing to go through a dealer so that I can reduce my tax liability on the new vehicle, I have more flexibility.

On another note, I want to thank everyone on the forum that has provided info, tips, and tricks. This is a great community that I will be sad to leave.

Why so many vehicles the last 3-4 years? I figure if you have a back issue, you should stick with something if it's comfortable for you.

Great question. My back issue was only really a problem with my Stinger (which is why I sold it). All of the other vehicles in the list never gave me an issue. Essentially, I have a bone spur that can act up on occasion. If I keep it stretched, it usually doesn't give me issues. For some reason, after about 20 minutes in the Telluride, I start to experience numbness and tingling. I've tried moving the seat up, down, forward, backward, upright, reclined, and every way in between. I just think that the ergonomics don't work for my body. Granted, I'm 6' tall and 220 lbs, so I may be a bit unusual.

Maybe its a KIA thing? 🤷‍♂️

I'm your height and heavier, I had issues the first day until I let out the lumbar support in the back. Without the lumbar support it's been fantastic for me. Hope you figure something out or find something else that works. Good luck.

@NDBlackEX- thanks for the insight. It was very appreciated.

The Telluride has been sold. I ended up purchasing a Lincoln Aviator. Interestingly, the my back issues were resolved almost immediately.

Haha, no problem. You sure work fast! Enjoy, those things look pretty cool and say hi to Matthew McConaughey for me if you bump into him out ice fishing!

could i possibly trouble asking you what you sold it for? how many miles were on it? did you sell it private, or trade it in?
i have a 2020 kia telluride sx prestige ( and towing ) with 21k miles on it that we are looking to sell. a local dealer offered me 42k for it. but i know how popular these are, and i am hoping to get a good price for ours. we have loved the Kia, but my wife wants something bigger, hence the sale.
thanks,
Jim

Absolutely. Mine was a 2021 with 800 miles. Paid $48,500 with the financing rebate and traded for $48K. I could have sold privately for 52-53K if I wanted to be patient. I just looked up MMR auction value on yours, and show it at $45K. Retail is showing at $49,500. MMR values are a bit inflated right now, but think that 43-44K is a reasonable offer from a dealer. At $23K, your cost/mile is is about $.20 (assuming a purchase price of $47K. This is unheard of for a 1 year old vehicle, so even at $42K it is pretty good.

What are you thinking of getting? I just got a 2020 Lincoln Aviator, and absolutely love it.

thank you very much for your quick reply. We already bought a 2021 GMC Denali. We took our Telluride on a few family vacation ( we live in Ohio ), driving it to Florida and South Carolina. I thought it was really great for the long trip, but my wife and kids found it a little bit crowded.
And thank you for the MMR info. As far as selling our Telluride, my wife just wants me to take the dealer's 42k offer. But my brother in law ( who knows quite a bit about cars ) is urging me to try to sell it privately ( being cautious as I can selling to private ). I have been trying to do a bit of research, and I am thinking about asking 44,950.

thanks again for the info.
best of luck to you in your new vehicle.

The GMC Denali is a nice ride also! Happy to provide the info. Not sure if you get a sales tax credit in your state, but if you trade for $42, you will save about 3K on taxes (depending on tax rates) for the new vehicle.
