Sounds like a solid plan. My brother loves my Telluride and said he will give it another year because he refuses to pay MSRP. The only caveat to consider is that this year’s MSRP may be a deal if KIA sees the love and decides to raise their prices (probably unlikely given the strain COVID has had in the economy). I think once the mad rush is over and supply surpasses demand, you will be able to pay less than MSRP in the near future. Good look and I am glad you’re enjoying the forum.

Leaving tomorrow to drive down to Plano to pick up my Telly. Here is my 2007 Santa Fe being picked up by a local charity I donated it to. It was actually a great car for 13 years and 317k miles! Wish I could keep it, but repairs just were just a bit too pricey. Was kinda sad to watch her being towed away!

Ask your dealer for a build schedule. VINs are generated after the body is painted.

Ok, cool. I did ask them a couple weeks ago about the VIN and he said they'd let us know once they got it. So I'll check in with them.

What my timeline doesn’t show is that I first ordered with dealer in April, then Covid shut down the GA plant. It was quick once it was accepted into KFOS or Kia’s ordering system.

The black interior listed refers to the carpeting and hardliner color of the interior.

It apears that, without upgrading to the Prestige Package, Butterscotch leather (which I have) is the only seat color that comes with a black interior/ black headliner. I have to say, that black headliner, even though it's not as "fancy", really does look great! DuneLeather also comes with black headliner but that requires the Prestige package.

Looks amazing. I didn't want a light-colored headliner after my niece and nephew left ketchup/blood/chocolate/whatever stains on the roof of my Lexus LS 430's light colored headliner. The dark headliner for the Dune Brown interior should look similar to this, right?
