• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... What vehicle did you trade in or move to to get a Telluride

2016 Sedona got t-boned after a lady ran a red light. One of the factors was a similar control layout between the two. It just turned out that the Telluride is the best SUV in that price range.

2013 Subaru Outback SAP trim; best car I've ever had, and I sold privately for +$2K above bluebook, since I took good care of it. It was surprisingly hard to say goodbye to her. She was white with black trim, and my new T-ride is same (SXPN trim). I have high expectations, but all the new tech and the lifetime warranty (I paid +$2.3K to get the Wrap warranty so everything -electrical + powertrain is also lifetime) was too good to pass up.

My baby a 2008 Acura MDX @130K Miles. This SUV is SOLID, drives like a dream. Best car I have ever had. I have taken very good care of her and I wished I could keep her or give it to my kids but they are still too young. Will sell it to someone who takes good care of her since dealer will just try to give me a low-ball trade-in offer.
I have my 2nd MDX (2011) which I LOVE, but it is not large enough to fit two large dog crates, and I drive across the county a few times a year. I have 120,000 and my 2005 had 220,000 no issues! I have to part with it slowly as I get VERY attached. I sure hope the Telluride is a tank, I have been spoiled!

2013 Chevy Traverse

2012 Honda Odyssey EX. We've had GREAT luck selling Hondas private party and plan to do the same this time around. Latest ETA we have is mid-November on our new Telluride.

Traded Cadilac 2017 Xt5 and Ford Escape 2018 as retired now and consolidated driving. Hubby and I both share in driving and very much enjoying the 2021 SXPremier Black Copper wd got a few weeks ago . Cant wait to start traveling

Bittersweet for the wife to get rid of her 2014 Odyssey Elite. She said she'd miss the doors and the Rear entertainment. I fixed the rear entertainment problems with headrest mounted DVD players - sadly can't mod the doors to slide lol

I have a 2018 Kia Niro Touring and I absolutely love it. I'm actually sort of crushed that I'm giving it up... it took me on my first major roadtrip, and I LOVE that I break 40mpg (sometimes even 50!) on a regular basis. But, hubby desperately wanted a sports car, so he gave his truck up last spring and we need a vehicle that can tow stuff (and fit a future kid and our dogs' big ass kennel). So, I'm moving on to the Telluride. I am EXTREMELY excited for it, don't get me wrong! I'll just miss being somewhat nice to the environment with my Niro, ha... 😅

I traded my 2019 Toyota Highlander Platinum in for my Telluride. The first Toyota I didn’t like 😔

I heard they are great vehicles, why trade it in

The voice recognition was always messing up, I took it back to the dealer several times, they kept telling me it was this or that pretty my fault until I finally contacted Toyota and they contacted the dealer with a fix. Of course the part had to be ordered and they finally replaced it but still didn’t work correctly. I had traded in my 2005 Toyota 4Runner for the Highlander and just didn’t like it. I was going to keep it until they updated the 4Runner then trade but I was shopping around on line and saw the Telluride and test drove it and loved it.

How is Toyota, not a dealer, namely Toyota, are things going with customer complaints?

They were on my complaint extremely quickly. I have always thought they had great customer service, in my experience.

I wasn't sure if I would really like the Telluride, so I purchased the EX. After 10 months I liked it so much that I decided that I wanted the extra amenities of the SX. I paid MSRP of $40,510 for the EX and got $38,400 for it as a trade. To me it was too good to pass up. I have no regrets and and am really enjoying the SX. By the way, I traded an Audi Q5 in for the the Telluride EX.

Does the Telly feel super sluggish to you, after the Q5?

Moved up from a 2009 Kia Borrego EX V6 AWD in Silver (over 200,000 miles) to a 2021 SX AWD Nightfall in Black Copper/Butterscotch.

2012 Kia Sportage SX. Loved it. It was the wifes daily. Of course it had seen its share of parking cart dings and curb rash. Sold it on Carvana super easy and with a fair price. Now she's in a 2021 GG SX and I'm once again jealous.

Not really. The Q5 was a 2.0 liter. I also had a Audi S6 that was tuned. That makes the Telluride seam sluggish.
