  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... We picked up our new 2020 Snow White Pearl/Grey Interior SXP w/Tow Telluride a week ago and could not be happier. Cargo cover, illuminated scuff plates and mud guards. This will primarily me the wives car, but I suspect I will be using it more since it is so dang nice. My wife reluctantly let go of her 2005 Honda Pilot, which she loved, but it was time. She could not be happier. She said something about looking bada$$ in this vehicle, imagine a 57 year old lady saying such things. Purchased some WeatherTech mats for the 3 rows, and a Tough Pro cargo mat for the cargo area. Tinting the Driver and Passenger windows Monday, and we will be done.

We called a local dealer on April 10, during the height of COVID, and on April 11 they drove to our house a Gravity Gray SXP and that was it. The next day I called the Sales GM and she told me about a incoming White SXP, estimated delivery of 5/11. I put $1000 down on the phone and the wait began. The plant shutdown slowed delivery but not too bad. The VIN was generated 4/02 and it was delivered to the dealer on 5/27. So all in all not a bad experience and sure seems we got a bit lucky after reading about so many people having issues with orders, etc.

Enjoy all

Congratulations! It sounds like your wife is Really happy with the Telluride! The Pilot is a very good vehicle - but the Telluride is a pretty big upgrade. Your patience paid off! :)

She really is. The technology advancements from 2005 to 2020 are pretty significant. Much to learn.

Congratulations and enjoy the ride. Would you mind posting a picture of the illuminated scuff plates? I've never seen what they actually look like. Thx

Left is the driver illuminated scuff plate and right is the rear non-illuminated scuff plate. They really pop at night.

Are you by any chance in the East Mountains area? I ask because I saw a woman driving a white SX-P in my area not long ago.

Congratulations, and welcome to the forum!

I also have a 2005 Pilot...and it's still going. Definitely a big difference between the tech and the other bells and whistles.

Pilot was nice and very reliable. Love the Telly. My wife is the primary driver and there are a couple nuisances that bug her but nothing major.
