• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... The ability to reorder presets was available when you selected Radio > Menu > Reorder Presets. You also saw ~40 slots.

Post the update this option is now gone and appears to be no longer available. Can anyone confirm and or show me what I am missing? Also, the list of available slots changed and every station is now in ascending order (not grouped together as I had it before).

Quick update from my chat with support at mapnsoft.

Curious if anyone else can confirm this issue just to rule out that my unit was somehow only affected.

I never noticed the Reorder Presets option before doing the update, but I can confirm it's not there after the update. I'm also not seeing the blank preset slots anymore, or any alternate way of adding new presets.

This happened in 14.0 when I did it months ago. I was hoping 14.5 would add it back but clearly not. I talked to mapnsoft months ago about it and they said Kia didn’t tell them to bring it back. Not sure why. They also got rid of home screen shortcuts from the 13 series.
I hope they really do bring the re-order back. They told me they would pass the recommendation months ago (when 14.0 just came out). I also asked them to add album art to the song that’s playing in SiriusXM like some other cars.

I’m confused by their email response. 14.0 came out in April I believe ? 14.5 just came out about a week ago. Their email said they are working to fix it for 14.10 ?!

I noticed the point size of the temperature on the HD Radio data on the home screen widget is bout half the size it was before the update. I also seem to only have about half of the station Sirius XM Station logos that display from what I had before. Anyone know of a way to roll back to the prior version before these issues were introduced?

The empty preset slots did go away with after I performed the update, but I found you can still add stations to your present list by clicking on the star next to the station name (see attached screenshot). The station will be inserted in numerical order, and I still don't see any way to reorder the presets.

Any updates? I just took delivery of my 2021 Telluride and the presets just show up in numerical order. I can't believe my 2016 Sorento had a better preset functionality

New update just came out today. MAJOR changes and I believe it now lets us change the order again! Ill play with it more tonight. Theres also user profiles so I think my wife and I can have our own presets and more :)

Trying to download the update myself on a Mac and the updater tells me I need at least 29gb of storage available, My machine has over 150gb available, but the updater app is only recognizing 23gb.... :(. Anyone else ever have this issue?

I downloaded it onto a Macbook Pro and did not have that problem. It downloaded successfully into a folder named "NaU" inside my Downloads directory. It's over 26GB. There are some photos of the new changes in another thread, and the radio looks pretty strange (IMHO). I'm holding off until we know more.

yeah not a huge fan of the radio. I do like the favorite buttons new placement though. I wish they would have album art for the sirius song currently playing. I dont like the new smaller logos and the bigger channel numbers now. Still annoyed the favorites have to be in numerical order AND the favorites just show the channel number and not station name anymore! Looks like Ill have to memorize all my sirius channel numbers

How did you get that layout? My telluride doesn't have it. I also don't like that I have to manually scan for channels. The radio setup is awful imo

I just updated my 2021 last night. First time I updated and it took about 3 or 4 hours with the car running, do they all take that long? I started it when I was going somewhere so I told it to do it in the background, would it have been significantly quicker if I didn't background update?

I'm in agreement with others here, not being able to order presets was made worse by this update. You'd think having the station name more prominent and being able to put your favorite channels first would be table stakes, there is a lot of wasted screen real estate.

I'm willing to do some legwork to complain to Kia but I don't know where to start, does anyone have a good contact at the corporate level? Do they watch these forums?

You wanted to pick the “update now” option (formerly the quick update). That would have taken you about 30 mins (or less). 🤦🏻‍♂️

Why is this thread even active? There have been NO developments on the original topic. People here are just asking duplicate questions that have already been answered or discussed here about the November 2020 update.

I'd like to help as well - even if it's just another angry Customer

It’s the 14.10 update that just came out a week ago or so. You go to the Kia updates page to download it from a computer to a flash drive. DONT do it though it stinks. no one likes it. You can file a complaint here
And I think there was another complaint page but cant find it now
