What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

Since tax varies by state and trade in value, and docs usually too, here’s what we paid for our 2021 EX AWD Glacial White Pearl / Gray Interior w/ Tow - MSRP less $500 finance offer for a total of $41,620. We also got a fair trade in value for our 2012 Honda Ody with 135K miles. Once our lease is up on our Traverse I have a feeling we may be a Two Telluride family....or maybe the rumored Kia pickup truck.

Sadly, I paid $5K over MSRP with lots of BS extras. IN effect more like $6K. But I did getting higher than expected on my trade ins.

I went looking at a SX-P, black on gray, this morning at my local dealer here in Knoxville, TN. They had a markup of $13000 from sticker. Are people actually paying ~$65k for these things? The salesperson I talked to said the factory wasn't taking new orders but that they could come off the markup "a little" if I'm serious. I've read a few people on here have ordered new from a dealer (in TX maybe) for around MSRP. Is that not still an option? I prefer the Telluride to the Palisade but not for that price difference.
Was this Parkside KIA?

Yes. The salesman said I was lucky because they had been marked up $20k earlier. Who in their right mind is paying BMW X5 money for a Telluride?

Yeah they told me there was no such thing as being able to order a Telluride. That was all I needed to hear to be done with them.

I feel like I got lucky. Was on the hunt for a white SX FWD and did not want to pay over MSRP. I only knew of two dealers in CA selling at MSRP, Hilltop Kia in Richmond and My Kia Salinas. Kept in close contact with Moe at hilltop and Frank at Salinas. Monitored failcat daily until the one I wanted popped up. Finally saw one coming into Salinas as part of their dealer allocated stock. Put a down payment on it immediately and one month later left Salinas with the Telly I expected with no surprises and at MSRP.

I had ordered one at msrp, no extras, due Jan. 29. Another dealer had exact car on lot in October for $3000 over msrp. Today, end of month November, they dropped the price to msrp. I called and offered to drive out (less than 1 hour) and bring it home today if they would deal. Got it for $500 under msrp, then another $200 off for a little spot on the hood, $500 cash back for financing, which we will pay in full first month, and $100 back on my Costco card for the $10,000 down payment. So end price to me was $1300 below msrp for my 2021 Sangria SX AWD and it’s tucked into my garage tonight as the snow falls!

Good for you.
So, Folsom wasn't offering any good deals?

They tried, but wouldn’t take much markup off for me. I’m sure they might have done better if I was there in person making the deal but hard for me to make that drive on a “maybe”

Paid ~$3k over MSRP for an EX model (no premium packages) which brought my grand total over the MSRP for an SX 🤦🏻‍♂️

I bought a Telluride EX in Everlasting Silver, EX Premium package including 2nd-row captain chairs 20" wheels, LED HeadlampsTowing package, and self-leveling rear suspension. MSRP $43,375...they were giving away 55" TV's with vehicle purchase for Cyber Monday and I opted to take $400 off instead. So...$42,975 at 1.9% for 66 months. With all the horror stories of paying over MSRP I felt like a winner. So far I love the Telly!

Over MSRP in Folsom when I went mid Nov to check colors out and they had about 12of them

Hey!! I guess dealers think the Tellurides that come to California are special and I found one for $2500 over and that was the best I did. That is why I’m using Stephen Cantrelle here on this website. He will ship your car to you for approximately one dollar a mile from Carrollton, Texas. Along with the pleasure of working with Stephen over other salesman who lied to me, I welcome this experience and recommend it totally! I am making a total vacation of it and flying in to pick up my car and driving it back to grass Valley California. That’s the best way to break in an engine anyway
That's funny. I was looking across the country, thinking I'd do the same thing if I found the right Telluride! Fortunately I just stumbled across one from a dealer here in Denver. Guess I have to take that vacation another time.

If you’re in Knoxville, Superior Kia in Cincinnati will take an order and when I last spoke to them it was $1,000 off MSRP
for orders. Sweeney Kia in Florence, KY is another option. Sweeney makes you take their protection package at $400. I walked away from an October delivery from them out of principle.
Just called Superior Kia in Cincinnati - they do indeed order with a price $1000 under MSRP.

Be sure to ask about any mandatory add-ons, like window tint, nitrogen, VIN etching, etc. Otherwise, that is a good deal.

hi there. who did you work with at Bridgewater? Denville wants $5K above MSRP and let me walk away with my offer to pay $2,500 over MSRP.
@lgarcia521 if it’s not too late reach out to Nutley Kia. They're the only ones selling Tellurides at MSRP in NJ. Great dealership to do business with.

Ordered mine today as MSRP. Lat minute they tried to throw on a $1,200 "market adjustment" but I made it clear that I would walk.

I actually canceled my first order from a dealer that was MSRP as the dealer I ended up ordering from throws in free oil changes for life and it is 5 minutes from me so if I keep the vehicle, that will count as a discount. If the promotion is still running, I'll get the $400 Veteran's discount.

Wow so they were just selling at sticker with just incentives ? Dealers around Columbus have at least a few hundred to to a couple thousand off plus incentives off
I'm finding in CA it's more like 5K over MSRP. I'm still looking...

I am in NC so not actually going to buy from them but I have been in communication with Duchess Kia in Poughkeepsie, NY. (Close to my parents but with the Covid situation I just too hesitant to go up there right now.) They said to me that they are selling at MSRP and have been very good with communication. If you are in that area, might be worth it to contact them.
