OEM All Weather Premium Cargo Mat with 60/40 Seatback Protection

While I'm waiting to get one, I just cut a piece of cardboard from an old TV box roughly to shape, then lined the edges with duct tape. Really low tech and ugly, but fast and free. It keeps the dirt from hiking gear off the carpet.
I got one of these from Amazon and for the price I might just keep it as my long(er) term solution. $20, fast delivery, easy to attach, covers the bumper so for the price it does the job and I am sure more protective than your cardboard LOL. I am also on the list waiting for the premium. I got the $19.99 version its not fancy but it works.

Just bought our Telluride -- subscribed to the thread -- in the meantime, any suggestions on a cheap cargo holder -- rubber (i.e. non carpet) behind 3rd row cargo holder to bide my time until I'm able to get this? Doesn't need to be custom fit or anything -- just something to keep grass and dirt off the carpet
See my post #261 I'm happy with it for the short term.
Copy and paste as plain text the following into Amxzxn search bar:

The link seems to be wrong - goes to the KDM Warehouse site...unless there's some sort of auto-linking that happens in the forum.

Sorry I don't know why it does that. Copy the description line below and paste it into the 'A--zon' search bar as plain text and that will get you there. I think that KDM must have a hyperlink to anything that looks like the "A" word.

Received a call from Ted about the mat on 11/13 (Friday), it was shipped out that day and received it 2 days later! Amazing service, I wish my Kia Dealership had service like this. I put it in the car a few hours ago and took some addl photos for others to see. Its not as thick as I was expecting but that is ok. Also the left hand side of the mat that covers the plastic access area is lifted but I'm sure over time it will settle and lay flat. Also for those who don't know the mat is held in place with velcro, I've included photos of some of the areas. I think I may have only missed one. If anyone wants any additional photos let me know and I'd be happy to provide them.

Thanks for the great pics! Two questions now that you have it installed:

  1. How is access to the under floor storage with it in?
  2. And if you wanted to take out the panel to the underfloor storage with the third row seats still up for more vertical space in the rear trunk area, can the mat settle down into the underfloor space or be flipped up to the third row seat to allow that?
Talked to Ted and on the list today as #50

I haven't tried to access the storage with the mat installed yet, but can try later.
I'll also take some pictures with the 3rd row up and storage cover removed. My initial thoughts based on how the cargo area is designed, is that it will not sit flat due to the sides of the mat extending past the storage compartment. I'd anticipate the mat sagging in the middle due to the side areas.

Sorry this is a bit late, tough to get outside when its light out, here are the photos, 20201115 image is with the storage cover in, photos with 20201121 are with the storage cover out.

Surprisingly the mat stayed fairly flat, but there was a slight deflection. It definitely wouldn't hold any type of substantial weight.

As for accessing the storage compartment under the mat, it wasn't too hard but you do have to lift the mat up to get to the handle. I noticed when I did this I had to re-adjust the mat slightly to sit correctly after I put the storage cover back. This is due to the fact that you have to pull the storage cover slightly forward to get it past the "locking" corners so it can be lifted up.

Thanks Ted. I did get your email reply, and hope to still remain "waiting" for one if possible.

Related, my OCD has been in overdrive recently.

Doing more looking around than i should ever publocly admit to, i searched for Palisade folding cargo mat (seems like Palisade parts are more widely available, i even found tape on window deflectors) i came across this Canadian company/site TELLURIDE 2020+ PREMIUM CARGO LINER and sent them a request.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed they have them, and that they will ship to US.
Did you ever get a response from the Canadian company?

I did not, and I even sent them a second request through their general 'Contact Us' form. Not sure why I didn't even get a bucketed response.

I did, however, end up modifying my current all weather mat so it splits and folds down. I still intend to get this OE mat, and then remodify the modded one to use for second row seat back protection.

Happy Thanksgiving! At least in the US, so Murray Hyundai in Canada was open. Just got mine ordered and shipped today! They estimate 5-7 days for shipping.

Supposedly I got their last one. But here is the quote they gave me, which has their information in case anyone else wants to give them a try. Ended up being $336 USD.

S9F12-AU102 is the rubber equivalent (similar) to the carpet mat everyone is waiting for.

I'm seeing that part number tied to the carpeted version -- is there a number for the rubber version?

S9h12ap000. For reference, it's also on the quote i recently just posted from the dealership.

Anyone order this in the US?
I have from Turner Kia mentioned above and happy with it. @Tedfrom Turner is the contact and he is also on this forum. He is not able to get them until later notice.

There few people in FB group that said got the Canadian Mats from Preston Kia in Burton, Ohio and Halleen Kia in Sandusky, Ohio. At much cheaper price($115 I believe). Try give them a call. Part #S9H12-AP000

I spoke with the parts rep in Burton, Ohio. Sadly, they are not able to get their hands on the 60/40 either. :-(

Sorry. I didn't verify either one of those dealers as I already have mine. I saw few posts on FB saying they bought the Canadian mats from them.

No problem! It was a quick email and a phone call. Now we all know! :) Gal I spoke to was super nice and said she would look into it more tomorrow and let me know what she finds out. Gotta love the friendly people in middle America!

Finally got mine, and in the Telly.

Probably unpopular opinion, but I'm kind of underwhelmed. Nothing really felt or seemed premium about it (it's pretty thin), especially for the cost. Also doesn't sit completely flat when the seat backs are down, and i kind of wished it had velcro on the top side to hold the straps (i can/will easily add, but it's the fact that i have to add). Then I use the cargo space a lot, and maybe just me, but i feel like this would wear out easily. I guess time will tell.

It looks really nice in the pictures, wish it is more widely available! In fact I just came back from a local Kia dealer for service and I asked them about the carpet version. If the price is right I may have to settle with the carpet version.
