  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Financed a new 2021 Kia Telluride SX Nightfall Edition in Dark Moss. A bit excited on the purchase. Got a Blackvue DR900X-2CH to install once it gets here. Was looking into perhaps lifting it and found this forum. Hope to do good things with the Telluride.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your brand new Telluride! What will the Telluride be replacing for you? I'm glad you found us. :)

We have the same. It's a great color and enjoy how it changes colors. ;)

The blackvue does take a bit of tweaking. It defaults to bring too sensitive and sharks almost everything as an event; a bump, door closing, etc. It's also very chatty and just disabled all the voice prompts. Lol

Any other things you'll be adding?

It will be my wife's car. She was interested in adding a grille guard but I haven't found much aftermarket support for it yet where it won't affect the sensors. Still looking to lift it 2 to 3 inches and adding a side step.

She was driving a 2004 Nissan Murano. Bought it that year. It is totaled now because this kid drove into her lane of traffic and caused a head on collision back in August.

Are you me? I had a 2004 Murano too! Loved that SUV back in the day. It too was a pretty slick ride. Owning it for 16 years is pretty good! :-)

It definitely was a good car and it did its job well when it came to protecting my wife in the crash. Which is one of the reasons why we chose the Kia Telluride. It had top scores for safety rating in 2020 and 2021.
