Dealer just called. They ordered a transfer case, which won't arrive until September 18. Kia wants the defective case as they "are very interested in what went wrong."
I asked (for the third time) if they plan on checking the balance of the rear driveshaft. Manager said Techline wants them to install the new case then test drive it first. This makes little sense being there is Techline documentation re: rear driveshaft being out of balance on these vehicles.
I'm going down to the dealer this morning. I won't be Kia's test bed.
