I just did the Navigation update on my 2020 SX. Am I the only owner who thinks this update is odd and inappropriate for the Telluride? First of all shame on me because I thought I was doing a navigation/map update, but many of the other graphics changed as well. I checked with customer support regarding the navigation update because I thought maybe they had the wrong files associated for the Telluride....these seem more for Niro owners. The graphics are pink/purple, the radio now uses a weird vacuum tube graphic (my opinion) and I can't customize the main screen to show map/radio/weather for example (see attached files). Now I can't go back and have to live with this Miami Vice Steampunk version until Spring. Someone please tell my that customer support gave me the wrong answer and this update is not for the Telluride.

So we came home with our 2021 Telluride yesterday and I thought I'd perform the latest update (currently 13.47.44.680.201), but I'm having doubts...
Firstly, the software sucks... I installed the Update program and this is what I start with:
No text on the buttons... throughout the entire process. 2ndly, once I fiddle around with my textless options, there is no 2021 model in the list. After many experimental clicks, I eventually get to the point where I can download the update, but as I said, it's for the 2020. Even when I look at the "list of eligible vehicles," the 2021 Telluride is not listed. Are they really this far behind? I suppose the Covid thing could be behind the delay.
Lastly, the previous post illustrates how the update, in their specific case, really altered their navigation interface, changing all the icons and colors. No one responded with similar experiences, but it's from only 10 days ago.
So the question is should this be taken as an omen and literally that the update is NOT for the 2021?

Full discussion on latest update can be found on this link. I don't know why you are having issues with the software. Although the software only lists 2020, many have confirmed it works with 2021. That said, if you like the current layout or against being stuck on purple neon theme, hold off on updating it until spring update. It seems like they will change it back or give us an option to choose.

That’s interesting. I’m going to check my Telluride to see if I have that option post update.

I have the same issue with prior software as well as the latest update. My media apps such as books or music won’t even be in use or open prior to getting into car but once my phone connects via Bluetooth or wired CarPlay it auto starts playing media and I check my phone and the app isn’t even open. I have to manually open app and stop it or push the volume button on wheel to pause audio.

Do you still have that USB drive with the version 14? I hate the new purple user interface and was curious if there was a way be revert back to an older version.
