Hi, recently picked up a 2020 SX-P with 28k on the speedo. I assumed (incorrectly) that I would have the remainder of the factory warranty. I only have about 2-years left on what Kia called a "limited basic warranty."
Is it possible to pick up an extended warranty at this point through Kia? I wouldn't mind covering electronics and things like that for a couple of more years, the warranty details are so vague that I really don't even know what is left and covered at this point. It's a shame that subsequent owners do not have the same warranty remaining benefits at the original owner would have.
I don't want a 3rd party warranty, I would just rather roll the dice than throw money at those types of insurances. Directly through Kia or forget it.
Thanks for any help, I really appreciate the insight.
