It should have amber DRLs as it's getting the same LED headlight assembly as SX.

Yes, well that was a question for me, and I hadn’t heard this was the case anywhere else. I am actually kind of surprised, because I always thought it was cool how the amber running lights separated the SX from the other trims.
So amber won’t automatically mean SX anymore...because there’s a new trim in the neighborhood!

Whatever is more visible by others. I tend to notice amber DRL more than white personally.

The cool thing about the Tellurdie Amber DRLs is they also double as the turn signal. With the white DRLs, they turn off on same side as an activated turn signal, which is a real annoyance to me.

While I am glad to see KIA offer the full LED headlights on the EX (since the standard lighting package was a source of criticism from some reviewers) I do wish the amber LED surround was still an SX exclusive. At least it is an EX Prestige item - and not on the lower trims. The EX Prestige is pretty close to the offering of the SX - so from an image and perception point of view - it will still be associated with a nicely optioned Telluride.

Being an SXer here, I think I speak for most of us when we say we really don't care what color your halos are.. Switch yours to amber, good for you.

Kia.com just updated to the 2021 and the preview of the EX without the Premium package selected is showing Amber DRL and dual LED headlights. Are you sure the Amber DRLs are only with the premium or does it come with all EXs now? I do not want the amber lights...
