• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Listing is for #3 non-HK OEM door speakers. Specific part number is: 96330-S1000. Installed in vehicle for about 6 months prior to swapping aftermarkets in. Only 3 to sell, as I experimented on the 4th.

Make me an offer if interested. Prefer to sell all together, but will split them up if needed.

I'm curious to what you swapped out to and what the experiment was on the fourth one. I should be receiving mine next month but is the audio system that bad that you swapped out right away?

These were from my 21 S, which I have since swapped for a 22 S.

I experimented on cutting out the woofer, etc. to use the mounting ring for new speakers (as discussed in other threads). I did not have the patience nor desire, so I opted to do without. I ended up buying and installing Infinity 6530CX component system. It came with rings that "worked" for the most part, enough I could get it mounted to the door with the speaker in it. I attached a tweeter to the corner sail panel in the door, so the front had an overall 6 speakers. In the rear door, you'll notice a blank spot by the door handle that looks like where a tweeter should go like the front door. Here, I used a hole saw bit and drilled through the blank spot to flush mount the tweeter. It definitely helped to get some additional sound output, especially in the 2nd row.

Full disclosure, I am horrible a taking pictures, especially in the middle of a job. The last thing I think about it is stopping to take a picture, so my apologies.
