• THIS SECTION IS ONLY FOR DISCUSSIONS RELATING TO BUYING A TELLURIDE. PLEASE USE A DIFFERENT SECTION FOR POSTING MESSAGES ABOUT ANYTHING OTHER THAN BUYING A TELLURIDE. THANK YOU!

  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2021 Tellurides some prices and ETAS.

Stephen, We're in MS and are looking for 2021 SX Gravity Grey, Wolf Grey, or Black with Black int. The local and surrounding dealers say they don't know what they are getting on a weekly basis. "We'll just call you when we get something in..." Is there a way to find out who is getting what? We'd be willing to drive a few hours to get the one we want instead of sacrificing..... again. We still cannot order the one we want??
I'm not the awesome Stephen. But, you could just go to failcat.com You can search by state or even dealer #. Per the discussions on this forum, most cars arrive within 2-4 weeks from creation of the VIN. My local dealer in Joplin is Mo012. I search failcat daily inpatiently waiting on my special order VIN to get assigned. Another poster in another forum at tellurideforum.org stated they had great luck finding cars that were not special ordered by looking at the Monroney sheet and seeing the cars with just carpet mats ordered as options. Hope that helps.

Oh, sorry. Thanks for the info! I looked on Failcat.com and every one of those VIN’s have a date of 2020. Are those 2021 models just built in 2020?

Ah! 10-4. Thanks! Is there a way to know if those units are pending shipment or have shipped?

Most are usually out to the dealer 10-15 days after the created date on the webpage, depends on location mostly

Yes. Kia only changed the designated model year. So, in June some 2020s were built after 2021s. The VIN #continues to just increase sequentially.
