Here are some before/after pics so far:
First couple are prior to any modifications; others are after modifications, I couldn’t find a “before” pic of the back, but you can probably google image what that looks like. unfortunately, I haven’t yet found the pic of the blacked out “Kia” front emblem prior to me undoing it :( also, sorry for the poor lighting, I’ll get better pics out later this week (definitely shows the color changes of the everlasting silver though!)
This week:
Ceramic window tint
Lower part of back bumper wrapped in black gloss
That back looks great without the new KIA logo. I'm doing that, I think. If I miss it, I'll black it out and put it back on.

Front looks pretty good blacked out on NF grill, see it here.

thanks! I don’t miss the back badge at all- however I did keep it just in case lol.

yeah doesn’t look too bad there, for some reason I still think it just looks like the logo fell off leaving a black backing- can’t get that outta my head ever since it was brought to my attention haha!

@Bland
The debadged back looks better than I would’ve thought… I thought I might look weird with that flat spot for the logo, but yours really does look great. Are you happy with it?

I am- but I was also probably more unhappy with the new “Kia” emblem than some lol.
I think once I change out the AWD and black out the bumper, I’ll be even happier- right now those two things are the eye sore for me. My husband is somewhat still a bit bothered by the flat spot, but said it is so much better than he thought as well. Honestly, moving the lettering up a bit helped because it now looks a bit like it’s just the design of the car. You also can’t see the flat spot unless you are at a certain angle.

I can't see it at all from your pics. If you have one that shows the flat spot better, please post it. I'm going to try to get away with current lettering (since my car will be NF and it should blend in pretty well). I like the new logo, but the font, the size, and the placement on the back are an atrocious combination with the "TELLURIDE" lettering. It doesn't bother me as much on the front, except that on NF it really should be darker.

Seeing how dark it is on @Abbeygirl1's grille, that would work for me. I may try to go more gunmetal with plasti dip and see how that comes out.

Looking good so far! Nice placement of the lettering on the tailgate, it looks natural.

I just wanted to let you know that I wrapped the silver lips on my grill last October. I was looking for a better color match plus I was getting the occasional rock chip so I decided a couple of weeks ago to just get it painted. It goes in tomorrow. I was taking some before pics with the wrap last night and noticed that the wrap was starting to peel in the corners so good timing I guess.

It looks like you wrapped yours so I just wanted to let you (or anyone else who reads this) know I got about 9 months and 15k miles out of my wrap before it started to deteriorate. If you're a DIY'er, and you don't mind spending the time to wrap it every so often you'll be fine. I took mine to a shop and what I paid to get that wrapped was only about $45 less than what the paintwork is going to be. So, if you're going to keep the car a while, it may be worth it to just get some of these parts painted at some point. The rear bumper will probably last longer but stuff on the front like grills, emblems, etc will need to be redone more often.

Good points! I had vinyl wrapped the beak on my Acura MDX and that lasted about 3 years!! However; I’ve already noticed on the telluride with the corners- it was much more difficult because there is almost no room for tucking, we shall see, I’m guessing about the same life out of mine that you had- a few months. Realistically, I’m not 100% on keeping it yet, so the vinyl was a good option to get a view on it and see if I wanted it more permanent… time will tell!
it’s the Kia logo that I’m having a tough time figuring out in front now :(

Now I love the older badge rather then the 2022 Telluride.

@Bland I was wondering if one of the International K logo would look good in the flat spot?

So I ordered from Korea the Forte front emblem. It measures 6-1/4 x 1-1/2”. I’m deciding how I want to black it out (paint or vinyl), but I’ll be removing the large rear emblem and replacing it with this smaller one. It comes with the adhesive pre applied on the back. Only cost me around $22 shipped.
Any suggestions on how to black it out and look factory?
Can you provide a link to where you bought it? Thank you.

Edit - Just cut out a couple pieces of cardboard 8"x 2" and one 6 1/4" x 1 1/2". I put the smaller emblem size up to the back of the car and it looks way too small. The height looks ok, but it just doesn't look wide enough. Let us know when you get your badges and see how they look. For now I may just have the rear badge vinyl wrapped.

Just curious if you removed the badge on the rear. If so, can you post pictures? We have a GWP nightfall and every time I see the oversized rear emblem it bothers me. I may just remove it but hoping to see the results first rather than be the guinea pig. Hopefully you are braver than me and already gave it a try.

Don't know if you saw post #17 in this thread. He removed it and used 2021 lettering. Should give you some idea.

Yeah and it looks great, but he used the old ‘21 telluride lettering. I’m just a little nervous that it won’t look right with the lower positioning of the ‘22 telluride letters and smaller font.

Since you have Nightfall, I'd plastidip the emblem first to see if you can live with that. If not, you're out an hour and probably under $15.

I'm with you, I'd be afraid to take it off with that puny Telluride font left on there by itself. Replacing that with 21 letters and adjusting their position turned out pretty nice.

I'm planning on this when I finally pick her up in a couple of weeks. I think the new TELLURIDE lettering will be fine without KN above, but will try to plasti-dip KN first. I just think on the back logo is massive and detracts from the otherwise tasteful design. In the front it's not too bad.

Anyone try removing everything from the back of a ‘22 (logo and letters) or just the logo while leaving the ‘22 Telluride letters/placement? I’m still wonder what the logo would look like painted the color of the vehicle (with the black letters) so it just kind of blends in (e.g., white Telluride with a painted white logo)? Has anyone tried this?

Arattle, any updates on this? Are the TELLURIDE letters you linked to the taller ones from previous model years or the shorter ones for 2022 (I'll be in the market for the taller ones in a few months)?

So far I've only blacked out the emblems. I don't plan to replace TELLURIDE letters, but am still entertaining removing the KN logo, it just looks wrong on the back.

Just food for thought…. I vinyl wrapped the front emblem on my 22’, took a step back and realized it totally just looks like someone ripped off the the emblem and left some black spot that appears to be missing an emblem lol… I ripped the vinyl right back off because in my opinion it didn’t look right (yes the vinyl job was done well, just didn’t like the look, to each their own of course).

I have a 22’ SX everlasting silver (non-nightfall) but blacked out the front bumper that was chrome (lips) and left the Kia emblem chrome and switched out the chrome “telluride” lettering for black 21’ lettering- it actually looks pretty sweet with the other chrome accents- however, I could see why you wouldn’t want the chrome if you have complete nightfall- just wish there was a better way. I wouldn’t have such an issue with the front chrome KIA emblem if it wasn’t so massive- if I could get a smaller one to fit that would be ideal!

on the back I de-badged the “Kia” ecompletely and replaced chrome
“telluride“ lettering with the nightfall 21’ lettering (the font dimensions are much better on the 21’) looks so much better IMO), will vinyl wrap my back bumper black next week.

good luck as you play around to find what you like best, it’s a big trial and error for sure lol
Hey @Bland, where did you get the 21' Nightfall lettering? I'm interested in doing the same!
