Thanks for getting back to me. What I'm trying to ask is does the grill look ok without the emblem or is it a noticeable blight on the grill? It appears my 2 options are black out the emblem or remove it - which is why I ask. It bothers me that after ordering a NF I would have to do extra work by blacking out the emblems.

Ahh gotcha, I personally wouldn't remove the emblem on the front because the piece that holds the emblem is the same exact shape but bubbled. So, I think it would look strange without it... But you could always pop it off and put it back on after seeing what it looks like.

I was annoyed that the emblem wasn't blacked out but I guess Kia wanted to show off the new logo.

Yeah I agree.

While I actually like the new badge, even in chrome on a nf, yours looks great smoked/blacked out

Even if kia offered it as a 200 dollar customization package I think people would go for it ... but the complaining would still persist.

"Why do I gotta pay extra for a nf?! ..."

Just wanted to share a pic of my new Telluride and ask a question…

For the new models Kia went with an updated badge logo… unfortunately they didn’t black it out on the nightfall edition

I was wondering if anyone has blacked out this new badge on their own? What did you use?

Wow, sweet ride. Is it ebony black or black copper? The one I ordered is black copper, nightfall edition. Trying to figure out what the black copper looks like. Hoping I won't be disappointed.

That one looks like ebony to me. Check out the Black Copper thread in the "All the Colors of the Kia Telluride" Sub Forum.
Black Copper looks black at night and in low light, but when the sun hits it directly it flashes a "Root Beer" color.

I've seen a couple in person, from far away it looks black and then as we get closer and pass it, it flashes a golden/root beer color for an instant when the light reflects at the right angle.

Does not look good without the emblem on the front. The plastic has a hole in it that gets covered by the emblem
