Can’t find anything on the forum about this so I decided to start it up. My LX standard (non HK) radio is horrible. The only decent sound comes from local HD stations. Other than that it sounds like an AM radio from a Vega. There is distortion on any mode, including FM. USB and CarPlay are almost unusable due to the distortion and horrible tone/balance issues. Took it to my local dealer and they say that this is normal for this radio. Yup, I bought it used, but can’t imagine that the previous owner did anything to the radio to affect it. Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this and what if any resolution may be possible. If it was possible I’d yank this thing out and put in a $39 Kenwood from Walmart, it’s that bad. How is it possible that a 2022 vehicle could be manufactured with such a substandard radio? Anyone out there is welcome to chime in, I can handle negative comments, would still sound better than this POS radio.
