Long story short - car wash attendant floored my brand new Telluride into a wall. Very sad day.
I am looking for any input/suggestions on how to handle the claim process. Since a business caused the damage, I'm not sure if I have more options than I would in a typical car accident. So far the owner of the car wash is cooperating and his insurance guy is telling me I don't need to file a claim with my insurance company (I already have, but he's saying I can cancel it). I'm still early in the process since this happened over the weekend and I wasn't able to talk to anyone until today.
Also, does anyone know what parts availability looks like right now? At minimum I will need a hood, front bumper, grill, headlight, quarter panel, and fog light. Really hoping I don't have to wait months for parts.
Any advice is appreciated, thanks!
