• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2023 Kia Telluride Discussion

New to forum ... Looking to get some insight into 2023 Telluride EX availability... Dealer tells me that there is 6-8 month wait and they dont know when it will be... Friend who works in Hyundai dealership said 2023 Telluride will be available by Sept 2022 month end... not sure what is true... any insights...
Your friend likely meant that MY23 vehicles would start to be produced around end of September. I'll be a while past that they'd actually be on lots (and even longer to wait for an order).

With the RWD bias! I’m definitely gonna test drive one. Dunno if it’ll tear me away from my Telluride tho.
Love the 1 1 six logo!! I have a similar shirt from a show I went to :-)

Any links or details to the new CX9? Is it larger?

This afternoon when I was out, I saw a Nissan Pathfinder. White with black roof, I think. Not bad looking. Could Pathfinder be an alternative vehicle if I cannot get Telluride or Palidsade? I had Nissan vehicles years ago but nothing lately.
Since the Renault merger, it has been a downward trend for quality with Nissan.

Got to wrap that in black

How do you mean? Vinyl wrapping can be done by yourself or a professional, professional preferred. Plasti or hyperdipping can be done by you but probably wouldn't hold up as well as vinyl. You could also have a body shop paint it. I have no clue what the difference in price would be between vinyl and painting.

Painting would probably be best. That part doesn't get hot that much, so the paint will hold imo

How does one go about “wrapping” or “plastidipping” part of the body?
I've done neither myself but had some chrome trim (window trim all 4 doors plus trim piece above front grill) on my truck wrapped black at the beginning of this year. Looks good and so far has held up perfectly. Cost was about $400 I believe, because the trim around the windows was a little tricky. That front bumper portion on the '23 Telluride should be an easy job for a professional.

Yeaaaa that’s what’s up!

No information really out right now on the new CX9, except that it’ll be called CX90 and have plug in and hybrid options.

That old cx9 is ugly. Especially on the rear. I wonder why it was so different from cx8

Hard pass on 4 cylinder. I want six cylinder minimum.
On paper I was not convinced. But you gotta drive it. I was shocked when I found out it was a turbo 4. That thing could move. It’s a bigger 4 cylinder so it’s pretty smooth.

Plasti Dip is the name of a product. It's sort of misleading, because nothing has to be "dipped." It's just a rubberized form of spray paint. The unique thing about it is that when you spray on several coats, it dries to form a film that you can actually peel off later if desired. It also has a more powdery than glossy finish, which some people prefer.
