• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2023 Kia Telluride Discussion

I guess that is what you are going to get with a midmodel refresh. Not much. I am hoping to see some improvements with the handling and performance of this car since it will time out with my history of moving on from my 2020 SX.

When do we think we will get the details of the 2023 model? I'm hoping soon, since those ordering now might end up with 2023s.

Any word if the 2023 refresh will update to a digital gauge cluster and a head unit that allows for wireless CarPlay? If so, I'm tempted to wait for next year's model. Yes, I know that a digital gauge cluster is not a game changer; however, I happen to like how they look (the one in the Hyundai Palisade, anyway).
Digital gauges may look nice but they serve the same functions and are generally way slower to respond.

Until manufacturers come up with a use for a digital cluster that isn’t a Jurassic Park “Unix system” I’ll pass.

Just keep your speed to under 4 asterisks and you will be fine. 🤣

Yes, they serve the same function (they are, after all, gauge clusters). If they are slow, that is a problem. If not, I'm ready for them. They may use an old Unix system, but the gauge cluster that currently sits in the Telluride looks antiquated as-is. So, I'll gladly accept the change.

I might be the outlier here, but when I look at the GV80 digital instrument cluster it just looks like a digitized version of the analog cluster that's on the Telluride. I'm curious, what exactly do the people on this thread want to see in a $35-50K SUV? The Hyundai Palisade has some neat visual effects, but it basically looks the same to me.

Just a little more sharpness to the eye, a tad more customization, and cool color effects. The bar is very low, and I don't expect much from a gauge cluster. The added benefit of the Hyundai is that the blind spot camera comes up on the respective turn signal side. Again, not asking for much, but I figure why not? since certain Hyundai's and Kia's already have them.

Getting a 2022 soon and I honestly like the non-digital gauges. We have a crv with a digital dash and I miss the gauges. :) Personal preference I guess

All I know is if the digital gauge comes with a button shifter, I’ll keep the analog to have my shifter. I’m not ready for too much change at once. Still getting use to a button eBrake. I’m use to a handle or foot pedal and feeling the brake get applied.

Heck to the yes. I cannot stand the button shifters in cars these days.

I used to agree with you guys. I bought an Accord a couple of years ago with a button shifter and got used to it very quickly. Do I miss the feel of the "manual" shift? Sure. But do I also like how space-saving the button shifters are? You bet. It really cleans up the dash/console. I'm really liking what I'm seeing with the underneath pass-through storage space some vehicles are adding a result, such as in the Palisade.

I'm the opposite.....I just ordered mine 2022 SX two weeks ago and I want the 2022 model. I've had a Telluride LX since 2019 and I love the front grill. Makes it look 'tough'. If they change or make grill narrower, I definitely don't want.

Hyundai/Kia, especially Kia, hit a home run with the Telluride. Purely a guess but I envision future refreshes and redesigns failing to capture the original. History supports this.

“spy shot” of the 2023 T’Ride… after doing such an amazing job on the original design I can’t believe KIA would do this! How could they walk away from the brand recognition of the now famous running lights??

Bunch of spy shots from recent months to hold us over for now

Have a 2022 SX Prestige on order and expecting delivery 5/2022. My sister put in an order for a 2022 Genesis GV80, but was told last week due to microchip delays and other supply chain issues Genesis has stopped producing 2022's. They are now only going to build 2023's going forward. Genesis was unable to provide a delivery date.

Wondering if the same is true for the 2022 Tellurides? Did anyone hear anything?
I placed my order last weekend and he said there’s a 90% chance it’ll end up being a 2023.

Famous Running Lights? Are those the square Halloween Orange lights? Regardless, those Halloween Orange lights are probably the only detraction for me when it comes to the Telluride. Yes, you can see them coming a mile away. So you can get your Trick Or Treat Bag ready.

Yes, just my opinion. If you love those Halloween Orange lights, then good for you.
