• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2023 Kia Telluride Discussion

What are they saying about Mahogany interior? I thought based on the unofficial thread, EX and lower trims will have Mahogany interior and the higher trims will have Terracotta interior?

That’s what I’m asking - what is mahogany and where can I research? Any references to articles that show the different leather interior colors by trim level would be helpful

You’re asking questions that no one really knows the answers to right now. We’ll have to wait until Kia announces the details on the 2023 and they begin hitting dealers before we truly know.

The best information we have right now is this, which suggests that Mahogany will be an interior color option on the regular EX, SX, or SX Prestige trims (not X-Line or X-Pro).

Terracotta is going to be for the X-Line and X-Pro. So you’ve already seen that, because pictures have already been released of that from back in April.

does anyone have an idea as to how long it'd take for us to actually start seeing the 23s on the road after the pricing/options/etc are announced?

Thank you!! Very helpful 👍

IF KFOS opens for 2023s in August, AND they begin building them in September, your first one will likely hit a dealership in October.

Sounds good on August orders opening up.

by color statement, I’ve heard that “mahogany” is being discussed as an internal leather color on the SX trim. Not sure if that leather color is actually going to be an option or not, so trying not to get my hopes up of it doesn’t materialize.
I thought I heard Mahogany was available on all but the X Line stuff.

I've not seen any pics of Terracotta. Happen to have the link? I see other comments on this forum stating no one knows what it looks like yet.

Well, we have seen the images that Kia released back in April of the X-Pro and X-Line.

Knowing the unofficial information that we do (Terracotta and Sage Green will be optional potential X-Pro and X-Line interior colors), we can deduce that the brownish interior we saw earlier from the X-Line was in fact Terracotta.

Do not assume that this is the order in which these developments will occur. People are already driving 2023 Hyundai Palisades -- that is, the vehicles have been purchased and delivered -- but the online Palisade configurator doesn't have any 2023 trim photos except for the Calligraphy. So although you can get the prices for the various new trims and options, you can't get the details on what they'll look like!

I am assuming this is terracotta on the X trims. Too bad they aren’t offering this on the EX trims.

Terracotta will be on all of the X-Line models, including the EX, too, according to the unofficial information page.

Correction- I am needing a bench seating configuration. From what I understand, EX XLine will force us to captain seats. Bench will most likely not offer terracotta interior color.

I’m puzzled as to why info on the ‘23 Telluride is still so limited. People have already received ‘23 Palisade, and info about them, including trims, features, and MSRPs, have been available for weeks. It just seems… strange. Hopefully more info is coming any day now.

P.S. The US Calligraphy Palisade DO have fully computerized, touchscreen climate controls. I’m jealous, although I’d still rather have power folding mirrors (which, bizarrely, was NOT added to ‘23 Palisade).

They're probably trying to sell more Palisade right now to overcome the ugly step sister image it had. Get them on the road and switch some of the demand from the Kia to the Hyundai.

Why? My previous Jeep had both: complete coverage of climate control in the Uconnect system, plus a full, duplicate set of physical controls. The latter were generally quicker and easier to use. In a car, screens are better for information display than for control manipulation.

Had a lead on a '23 Calligraphy Palisade with good pricing but just can't get past the lack of power mirrors. How can they not have that on a $50k+ vehicle.

No fog lights either.

Hmm...pretty sure power folding mirrors is new for '23 models
