• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2023 Kia Telluride Discussion

The X-Line and X-Pro do not come with tow hitches. Do not.

Check out this order/price guide with all the PIOs. Why would it list the hitch/harness as optional for the X-Line and X-Pro if it was included as a part of those trims?

The good news is, this is something that is easy to bolt on and install. Everything else is there. Add it if or when you want when it’s available.
I’m reading that different. It says it’s STD on TWJ. TWJ is the tow package, which comes with the X trims, isn’t it?

It says standard on TWJ because it is a component of the tow package (TWJ). TWJ is something that can be added to the regular EX and SX or SX-P models.

X-Line and X-Pro do not have the towing package. They just have the self-leveling suspension and then the tow mode that nothing else gets. The only missing component is the tow hitch and harness. Which is optional on the X-Line and X-Pro if you go all the way across that row.

Just received confirmation my order was picked by KIA for EX-AWD after dealer re-entered the order last week. As of last week I was #6 on the list. Original order date was 12/20/21. ETA 11/19/22.

Agree. I had to look at it a second time to understand also. LOL

I gotcha. I thought I read where the tire package was a post off the X trims, but I may have saw tow mode And thought it was the same thing.

Also transmission cooling for towing. Could be a bigger deal for some.
Where did you see that? I haven't seen any mention of enhanced transmission or engine cooling on any of the trims.

In the dealer letter (posted previously a few times on this chain) on the increased towing capacity line it is described as "heavy duty cooling" and is an upgrade included in the X-Pro.

Oh yeah... good catch. Strange that it's the only place it has been mentioned so far. I hope it's not a mistake!

Drove by a local dealer tonight and saw a Jungle Green SX-P X-Line and a Midnight Lake Blue SX. A few impressions:

I liked the Jungle Green a lot more than I thought I would. It’s like a minty green and quite striking at night. Not the right color for me, but people will be pleased with it.

The Midnight Lake Blue is awesome. It’s like a rich, glossy piece of blue candy. That sounds weird, but I mean it in a good way. The color really changed in the street lights as I walked around the vehicle.

I really, really liked the SX wheels. I hated them on paper but think they look great in person. This was the biggest surprise of the night.

The X-Line bumpers aren’t as dark as I’d like, but they are dark enough to make a difference and still make me prefer that trim. They blend in pretty nicely, at least at night on the Jungle Green. The bumpers on the other cars were too light for my taste. Not atrocious, but not my favorite.

EX X-Line AWD video
No matter how many times I try to like the 23 front end, it’s not happening! Love the new interior though. I think if we hadn’t already waited 5 months we would have canceled. Hopefully it will grow on us😎

That may have clinched the blue for me. I honestly liked how it looked at the auto show (some say it was too light, but personally if you want a true dark midnight blue… get black). The commercial made the blue almost look black.

I’ve seen the green during the day and wasn’t a huge fan but didn’t hate it. Your picture at night makes it look pretty awesome. As a guy who always buys white cars it’s probably a little too out there for me, but your pics make it look a lot better than I initially thought.

@StephenCantrelle do you have pics of the different front grills by model? It looks like the grill changes based on each model selection.

So, do the 2023 DRL flash continuously? That is really annoying.

That’s how LED lights function. Incredibly quick flickering. It isn’t visible to the naked eye, but is picked up by video due to refresh rates.

K, then why aren't the Amber DRLs blinking. Are they not LEDs?

They do. They just do at a different rate than white. The frame rate the video is shot at can make a difference as well.

I’ve had more than a picture or two ruined by the LEDs refreshing at the wrong moment as I snap a shot.1664941888612.webp
