If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Just stopped by the dealer because I haven't heard anything on my order from since February and figured someone would reach out regarding changing to the 23. I was advised the GM put new orders in with what he thought people would want. Is this normal?! I don't want to spend 50k plus on what someone thinks I should have.

Agree - that's a bit ridiculous. You should talk to them and they can make changes before Kia picks up the order.

Definitely a 2023 and in failcat per your pictures. I just don't understand why my failcat doesn't show that one - very weird! I've tried multiple devices and browsers - so very strange. Last serial I get is 325810.

I thought for sure that the ‘23 Telluride was getting Smart Park like the Palisade. Surprised that it’s not.

Between the higher than Palisade MSRPs for the top models and the fact that the Palisade Calligraphy still has more tech goodies than the Telluride X-Line/Pro (Smart Park, Ergo Massaging Seat, Power 3rd row, full LCD graphic touch screen climate control, push button shifter (depending on your perspective), although still no power folding mirrors or fog lights like the Telluride).

I wonder if ‘23 Telluride sales are going to take a dip compared to previous years. I’m still Team Telluride, of course, but the ’23 Palisade is a more compelling package now.

Although Night Ranger (‘21 SXP Nightfall) is going to serve me fine for the next several years.

The 23 finally showed up on Failcat for me. Weird 🤪

That's the last serial I get as well. Hmmmm.....

Totally agree. I was Team Palisade until the ‘23s actually started showing up, and now I’m on the Telly side again. It varies day by day. The Palisade improved its looks tremendously and has evened the playing field, in my opinion.

It’s bling (Palisade) vs. brawn (Telluride) and all comes down to which look you prefer. If only I could make up my mind.

Interesting perspective. I guess that's why there is vanilla and chocolate! To me the smart park and massaging seats are more gimmicky. If I would use the Smart Park once or twice a year that would be a lot. Power 3rd row would be nice, but I'm sure you lose something with it like storage space. I'd rather have the space. I've had a Jeep Grand Cherokee for years and have hated the LCD graphic touch screen for climate control. I'm yearning for the direct, tactile buttons that the Telly has!!! A shifter is a must have for me and one of the biggest reasons I'm not getting the 2023 Jeep! I love driving while resting on the shifter. Additionally Power Folding mirrors are so much more valuable to me then power 3rd row and smart park. I park in the garage and I'll need to use them every time I use the vehicle! So I'm firmly in the Telly camp on the trade offs. At the end of the day it's all personal and how you are going to use each vehicle.

One of the times I tried accessing Failcat I got a cloudflare error. That tells me that some of us are getting cached results as cloudflare does cache data. I suspect over the next 24 hours we'll all see the update.

Smart Park is kind of gimmicky. My brother had a power 3rd row and then switched to the GV80 and prefers the manual (the power third row takes to long to go up and down). The market for push button shifters is small and I believe there’s a very large population that prefers analog controls for thinks like climate control. Real buttons for certain things haven't become dated yet. I’d be interested in the ergo seats though.

Personally, the new Palisade still looks like a mom hauler (anecdotally).

I think the infotainment screen is ugly in the Palisade. I don’t like how it doesn’t look like 1 piece and it has a cheap looking black shiny plastic around it.

To be fair, I think they both have a lot of cheap black plastic (finger print magnet) material around them. The Telly’s unified piece looks cool, but I’m not convinced this won’t cause problems with glare or visibility (vs. traditional hood-covered gauges).

I looked at a 2023 Telluride SX-P today and noticed the digital rearview camera image did not appear to be centered Vs looking at the rearview mirror with the digital display turned off. The center of the image was skewed by at least 3-4 feet to the left.

The sales associate and myself were both confused. So we went to the back of the vehicle and noticed the rearview mirror camera is mounted on the left side of the center brake light. The sales associate then showed me that the Calligraphy Palsiade has the rearview mirror camera actually centered below the center brake light, which results in the image actually centered on the digital rear view mirror.

I find it unfortunate that Kia designed it this way, and that they didn’t actually center the digital rearview mirror camera. It could lead to a false sense of perspective behind the vehicle. Luckily there is still of course the 360 Camera on the SX trim and above.

I attached photos of both a 2023 Telluride SX-P and a 2023 Palisade Calligraphy for reference.

Interesting and nice find. The camera looks about a foot or less off center so I’m surprised at the large skew. Also since it designed that way, I suspect the camera may be mounted with a hairline skew to center it. It’s possible the Telly you looked at has the camera set incorrectly from the factory. I’d love to hear from others who get a chance to check this out on other 2003’s.
