2025 Kia telluride sx prestige x-pro cost buying platinum extended warranty

I am buying a 2025 Kia Telluride SX prestige X – pro and would like to know what the cost of buying the platinum extended warranty for the vehicle. Has anyone been able to negotiate the price of that warranty down and if so, what did they pay for it?

I'm not sure what you mean by a "platinum" warranty. I bought a third party extended warranty. When I shopped around (in 2020), I believe I remember one that was named Platinum something, but that's not what I went with. At the time, Kia did not offer any extended warranties. Assuming that hasn't changed and you're looking at a 3rd party plan, then yes - you definitely should shop around for pricing. You don't need to buy it from the place where you're buying the car, and you don't have to buy it at the time of purchase. I bought my plan from Kia of Muncie, and they were very easy to deal with.
