• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Shouldn't be too much longer before KIA unveils the 2025.
What changes do you foresee?
Myself - I don't expect very many. Major changes (body style, etc.,), IMO, are at least a year away.
They might change the design of the wheels.
I think they will keep the black bumpers for the X models. Maybe offer as an option for the other trims?
Interior electronics - hmmm - possibly a wireless CarPlay?
They are not about to change the interior layout - why screw with perfection?
Yeah, it is going to be a ho-hum year.

I speak of the gas engine models - no telling what they will do with the possible introduction of a hybrid, although the EV9 sort of fits that role.

won't happen but a can oil filter vs that plastic housing engineering abomination

They CAN'T change the Wired ONLY Carplay until they change how the GPS works with the infotainment technology, the EV9 and other newer models have the new Infotainment tech that does this and thus allows wireless carplay... I don't think this will happen on the Telluride until a complete redesign takes place, not a mid-cycle change...

I don't think I would change much from my 2023, I wasn't crazy about the silver bumper and trim pieces on my X-Line, but I like it better than the gloss black they used on the 24's... I just keep my fingers crossed that my 23 stays reliable with no issues (so far so good)

2025 - a car that doesn't explode or roll away in park (insert praying hands emoji)

HEV or PHEV option. Charging infrastructure is still not there and EV9's range could be 100-200 miles longer.

LOL - I haven't heard of any tellurides exploding (Yes, I know of the current valve spring recall, but those cars are not exploding). Or rolling away in park (Yes, I know of the coming recall that affect all 4.5 model years - but rolling away in park is not common at all).

Every single make/model of vehicle has issues. EVERY.SINGLE.ONE. And if you are one of the handful (or even hundreds or thousands) of people who have that issue, it can be frustrating. But the tens/hundreds of thousands of people who have no issues is also very real!

I've never owned a car that didn't have some recall or other known issues. My trusty 2006 Toyota that I drove until last summer with 250,000 miles on it had things worked on multiple times and even suggestions that I not drive it until such things were fixed. I had issues getting parts for recalls, the need to return to the dealer multiple times to get a single issue fixed, and so on. My daughter's Subaru needed a new engine.

I do understand your frustration if your Telluride has had problems. It sucks to be one of a few (overall few) that has major, or even minor, problems. But on a wish list for the next MY?

Multiple tellurides have exploded, nothing really new there. They were exploding when the 2020 came out.

The most recent one that exploded (which is what drew major attention to the issue) was a owner of a 2024 Telluride SX Prestige X-Line.

Does anyone know why you can't post links on this forum ? But if you go to the forums and look at my most recent post I posted the source on that.

Just Google: Telluride engine exploding caught on camera (for the 2020 ones that went viral) and google 2024 Tellurides go bang for the most recent explosions.

It could be because you're a brand new user. Let me see if it'll let me post a link directly.
