• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 265/50/20

Was trying to confirm if 265/50/20 will clear on the stock Telluride SX wheels. 1 day after install and have no issues with rubbing. Feels much better than the stock 245s.

I ran 275/45/20s on the rear of my '22 Telly on the stock rim. Looked more aggressive and is actually the same height as the 245/50/20 so no speedo calibration necessary. Traded that one in for a '23 and am on the way now to put new wheels/tires on it. I am going with 305/40/20s on the rear this time. Can't wait to see how tough this will look and tire height is the same btw.

Any update on this? i would like to see how they look, nice and beefy i assume.

Well after multiple conversations with my 'tire guys' there was too much of a chance of rubbing for me to go with the 265/50... so I went with the 255/50 and am very pleased. They are pretty tight in the wells' especially with sharp cutting, but no rubbing. No noticeable issues with speedometer readings and no appreciable change in MPG as of yet (big trip this weekend so we will see).View attachment 30045View attachment 30046
I know this is an older post, but hoping to get a reply - were you able to add these 255/50/20's without a lift or spacers?

I have a 2022 EX Nightfall AWD with tow package, stock 20" wheels and original Michelin Primacy LTX 245/50/20 tires and am now needing new tires. I want more sidewall, but don't want to make any other vehicle modifications (no lift, spacers, etc).

I have also been considering 265/50/20s but am concerned about the rub. I love the way your 255s look so if you did those with no other mods then this will likely be the way I go.

2 years in--how have you liked this setup? Observations on road noise, handling, comfort with these? I was thinking of doing the Pirelli Scorpion 3s but yours look great!

Thanks in advance for any input!

Edit- Speedo is off .5-2 MPH and is more noticeable at 80+.
Speedo errors are a percentage of the reading. My Telly is running about 70mph when showing 71 so approximately 1.5% indicating faster than actual. Said another way, the speedo is assuming that the tire is larger diameter than it is. Changing to tire with diameter/circumference 1.5% larger than what is on the car will bring the speedo error to zero. I have been making this type of change when it's tire time for years. I like the numbers to be right.
