So....after 50 miles of ownership and all the pre-reading I have done here on the forum, here's what I have found: 1. the build quality and luxury level of this vehicle is equal to , and better in some ways , than the 90K Mercedes SUV that I once owned 2. the headroom and overall space is better than the 2018 Explorer that I traded in 3. the technology is beyond anything I have ever owned 4. SO FAR..... none of the tech issues, vibration issue, or windshield issue . ( the build date was Nov. 12 so perhaps those issues have been rectified) 5. regarding the UVO app.... I did not have the first version so I cannot compare, but I have registered with UVO and have done several remote starts , each taking about 45 seconds to one minute from the time I request it. Knowing the request has to go the UVO server and be verified before the signal to start is sent, I am happy with it. 6. Various comments have indicated that the "approach function" should activate the interior lights and I agree that would be a nice upgrade. The "mood" lighting is very nice but does need to be brighter as others have indicated. The footwells have no lighting and would benefit from SOME as standard equipment.....the add on "interior lighting" which is footwell lighting and cupholder lighting is too bright and did not appeal to me. I installed "Tuxmat" floor mats......they are amazing! This weekend off I go to the mountains of Vermont......I am sure I will get to try it's ability to deal with snow!! Took me about 2 1/2 hours to go through all the tech settings ( with the manual) and get it all set up the way I want it......FYI, the warning tones for Lane Keeping Assist, etc. came set WAY too high....scared the crap out of me when one went off!! All are now lowered considerably.... A fantastic vehicle!!
