Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... When we put a deposit down, we were assured over and over again by the salesman that we would get the vehicle we ordered, not the closest allotment which is how I figured it really worked. When they told us we had to pay up or re-order, I wanted to demand my deposit back and go to a different dealer or consider a different brand completely. My significant other, who's more patient than myself, got them to agree to removing the extra accessories cost. We don't have it in writing and IDK if they're physically removing the accessories. The car doesn't arrive until next month, so we will see how this progresses.
