Acceptable Odometer reading when picking up

Mine had 10.....each vehicle is test driven at the factory and 10 seems to be around the norm....perhaps more than once if they note something and drive it again. If the car you are buying was ordered for you, then there should be no more than 20 miles on it and even that amount of miles is reason to ask "why?"

They probably did, but I’m OK with that.

Likely done on rollers, not on asphalt.

Bigger point is it is my car to break in under my rules, not something a dealer should be letting other people use and put miles on haphazardly.

I am very picky on my break in procedure - whether it is necessary or not. If I pony up the time and money to get a factory order, I don’t think a dealer should rob me of my preferred break in process by letting others drive the vehicle.

First thing I checked: the odometer read 12 miles

Had 9 on the Telluride.
had 117 on the frontier since they picked the truck up in CT.

mine had 9 but I also had to have mine shipped to me.
