• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... After and Before pics

nice looking sidestep. There's a thread like this already ongoing. Take a look and see

Let's not forgot to add your pedal commander, Borla Exhaust and K&N CAI!
Hahahahaha. Ya. Def a lot more that can't be seen from just exterior pics.

Related to CAI, and not this post (sorry), I'm going to be painting the intake black and replacing the chrome bolts with black ones. The CAI isn't CA legal, so hopefully it makes it less obvious in a visual inspection.

Hahahaha nice. I was thinking what to do about the K&N logo. Didn't think of that, but I'd prefer something not as 'flashy'. I'll see if there's an all flat black factory emblem (the one that's currently used on the Telly)

Let me know if you find one as I'd like to cover the K&N too.

if you replaced your OEM badges one of those can be a good one.

@asgalang - do you like the pedal commander? Worth the $270?

I was lucky enough to get it as a Valentine's gift, but I'm sure i would have gotten it eventually.

It's definitely nice to have/helpful, and it made driving more lively, if that makes sense.
Got the pedal commander on sale.

Made a huge difference on City+1. The ride is so much smoother...responsive. Even the shifts are smoother (probably in my head).

I would highly recommend the Pedal Commander upgrade folks.

@JerseySXP:

So, in lieu of us pestering Kia to release a Telly that has an adjustable Smart Mode where I can adjust feedback/pedal levels and shift points to make Telly's Smart Mode tech kick me into Sport Mode or Eco Mode faster, you're saying that I should give this Pedal Commander thing a try? :)

Okay.

But AFTER Borla opens their doors to me so I can get a Borla at Borla HQ.

If Borla keeps their high-security fences up, I'll have a better chance of befriending Tom Kearns.... but.... and this would be a big Kardashian but... that would involve driving through a lawless city with bad traffic to get to KMA Design HQ in Orange County... Irvine, the home of good Asian restaurants and way better air than Hell-A?

Don't shoot me with your Hi-Points, Angelinos !! :ROFLMAO:

Anyway...

Visit Oxnard California! :)

I have Pedal Commander and also love it! It gives the Telly a throttle-by-wire-to-carb feel, like in my vintage cars. It just makes the pedal responsive in a way that none of the modes will do on their own. Having experimented with a number of settings, I'm finding myself usually leaving the Pedal Commander in City -1 and the Telly dial in Smart mode.

@dugnichols:

So... highly-recommended?

Whatever money I have left over after splurging on a fancy puppy and a Borla exhaust from Borla HQ, I'll put into the Pedal Commander if it's not crazy expensive :)

As long as I can leave Telly in Sport Mode, I'm happy!

I actually have it in Comfort / City+1. Sport / City+1 got a little wild for me haha

So what you're saying is I need to try Sport / City +1? :cool:

How about MPG increases? Has anyone tracked this with Pedal Commander?
