• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Ambient lighting EXTREMELY DIM.

Ah, I see. That makes sense. Yeah, it's extremely difficult to get these where I live, especially in SX trim, so when one came in in the spec and color we wanted, we went for it. I just picked it up, so I still haven't quite figured out all the options it has. Apparently, it has this one!

So the Interior Mood Lighting must be quite dim then, because even set to "10" I've never even noticed it. So one is way too bright and one is way too dim, and they don't sync with each other. That's... interesting.

Correct they don't sync and I'm probably in the minority when I say this but I'm glad I shelled out the extra money for the Interior Lighting Kit, especially since the SX included Interior mood lighting is so very dim. I personally do not find the Interior Lighting Kit overbearing, bright, distracting or annoying. Though I wish there were more options, color and brightness settings given that it's $450.

Others will tell you to get a lighting kit off Amazon for 1/10th the price, granted you have more color options and brightness settings but I didn't want to have to deal with any non-OEM after market part and have to do any personal install as easy as it may have been.

I was just noticing in my Telluride SX, the light strip on the driver door does not light up all of the way under the door handle like it does on the passenger side. Anyone else have this issue? I am trying to determine if it is an issue with my particular vehicle or a flaw with the design.

Should be uniform across all doors and dash. It could be your viewing angle sitting in the drivers seat, if you haven’t tried looking from one of the passenger seats.

I noticed it originally from the passenger seat. I am gonna try changing the color to see if that matters. Thanks for the video.

I was one of those complain about how dim those ambient lights were until I sat on the passenger seat for the first time Yesterday. It was quite noticeable.

I had the same issue with mine except it was my passenger door ambient light that was barely noticeable. The dealer took the door panel off and realigned it. It somehow wasn’t where it was supposed to be. They ordered new door clips to replace the original ones because they sometimes get ruined when you remove them.

I have a 22 Telluirde SX for 8 months now and my right passenger door ambient light is not working. Also my rear foot panel rocker lights that says "Telluride" are also not working. Anyone had that issue or know how to fix it.

I had a problem where the driver door light wasn’t lit entirely. I had it fixed under warranty.

This is their first post on the forum "Hey I'm rebuilding a 22 Telluride, I'm trying to remove the floor console to get to the AB module. Would you be able to also send me the document on how to remove the AB module." I'm guessing that any warranty request would not be honored.

Only the front Telluride sill plates light up, not the rears.

I have an SX; is the ambient lighting only for when the car has recently been on?

I leave my car unlocked in my garage so when I open my door, only the dash dam isn’t lighting is lit but the driver and passenger door ambient lightning under the handles is not coming on.

I’ll check tomorrow when I drive around to see if the lights come on when I either have my key or i turned the car off.

The ambient lighting in the doors doesn’t illuminate when a door is open. Close a door and it will turn on.

Bingo! Thanks. Didn’t think to do that since my garage is a nice 105 degrees in this Texas heat.
