• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Have an issue where Android Auto disconnects if I don't use it. And sometimes, if I am, but less common.

For instance, if I'm listening to the radio and not using maps or or any other program on Android Auto, when I click back to Android auto it gives me a message about "check your cable".
I have to unplug and plug the cable back in and it works fine for a while.

It looks like the Android auto service is still running on the phone though..

I have tried different phones, different cables and my note 20 ultra workef fine in my previous vehicles.

I do notice my phones are charging very slow and wonder if it could be something with the USB port.

If it's not the cables then it's probably the port on your phone. USB-C ports have issues quite often. The larger USB ports almost never fail.
