• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Can someone please post a picture of how Android Auto is laid out on the screen in 2021 Telluride S model? Wanted to see whether it utilizes full screen. Thanks in advance.

I don’t have an S to take a picture, but AA will utilize the full screen on the 8” LX and S display because it is a standard aspect ratio.

The issue is for EX and SX models with the widescreen 10.25” display... here, AA continues to use its standard aspect ratio, leaving the right 1/3 of the screen empty.

I can try later when I am in my car (gotta remember). Essentially, if you look at the stock UVO Telluride photos for the infotainment, Android Auto takes the first two (left and center) tiles and leaves the right tile (third) a split screen to show the radio/weather/driver talk/etc.

@svote no worries. I was looking for a screenshot specifically from S model and I noticed you have an SX model.

Ah sorry about that. I assumed S and SX had the same screen size. I forget off hand which trims have the smaller display.

Don’t overthink it. If you know what a Telluride LX or S display looks like, just imagine it with Android Auto shown there. It uses every amount of the screen that is available.

Here is my 30 second mock-up of what it would look like.

Here is the SX with android auto. One pic of the main display with waze on and the other shows that some music apps will work in the media widget.20200903_093624.webp20200903_101929.webp

There are not any obvious differences with AA in Android 11. Google usually makes rolling changes to the app irrespective of major version numbers.
