2022 Copper Black, Napa Gray Leather SX Prestige AWD with Tow Package - custom order!
Call me crazy, but purchased this to replace our lease on a 2019 Acura MDX...
Basically all the same features and more, originally figured I could even *save* some money, but economy and chip shortages had other plans...
Checked Failcat for Vins of exactly what I wanted for months (specifically wanted one without Nightfall as well, not hating but just my own preference). At any given time there were about 4 in the country, and all special orders already spoken for.. local Kia dealer charging $7500 over MSRP...
Found a dealership about 1.5hrs away that was "only" charging 3k over, and was confident they could order. This was back in February and they knew my lease expired at the end of April. Said deposit fully refundable if it didn't come in in time..
And then crickets. Didn't hear a thing from them and started thinking about overpaying now when keeping our lease was an option and the 2023 facelift to come.. End of April came and we financed and kept the Acura.
...Then 2 weeks later I got a call that our Telluride was in. Was about to tell them forget it until they sent pics and then how could we say no??
Anyway, have been creeping the forum for a while, but just joined today. Assume I'll be spending much more time here, so just dropping a line to say hello!
