• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Any quotes on getting paint protection film or tint on the Telluride?

Has anyone gotten quotes on getting paint protection film or tint on the Telluride?

I am also curious what a paint protection wrap would cost and a ceramic coating. Has anyone had either or both done yet on their telluride?

Things cost less in El Paso. 20% tint around was $140.00 and I did my own ceramic coating for less than $100.00.

Looking to have the PPF and ceramic job when our SXP arrives. The paint correction process will be key.

Paint correction?

Paint correction?
Yep, every car even Ferrari/Lamborghini needs some level of paint correction ahead of PPF. That is key to the whole thing (that and the PPF and/or ceramic installer). Car brand new off the truck needs to be clayed, decontaminated with ironX or equiv., and some level of paint correction to be perfect. Mine came ceramic'd already (person who ordered, wanted it and dealer had it done), fortunately the dealer told me it had been properly clayed and prepped before I had asked.

Have our white/gray SXP in for full paint correction, front half (back to doors) SunTek PPF, IGL Ceramic on remainder and wheels, nano ceramic front side window tinting and interior leather ceramic coating. Takes a week. Yes, it is wife’s car. Will post pics when it comes home.

Been quoted from between $1100 to $2000 for the clear bra complete front as well as cups and door handles...

I had fronts tinted to match rears for $60. PPF is going to range from $1500 - $3000. Depends on quality and amount of paint correction needed.

Had bumper, full hood, headlights, mirrors, door cups and about the first 1/4 of the fenders wrapped in XPEL PPF for $1450. Just make sure whoever does it actually removes the Telluride lettering on the hood puts down the PPF and then reapplies the lettering from a template. otherwise if the PPF is cut around the lettering there will be an edge that will collect dirt over time.

Where did you have it done? (If you would recommend the shop)

Agree with Keifer on removing and reinstalling lettering and doing headlights. We are doing SunTek PPF. Paint correction is critical for long lasting job.

Did the full frontal clear bra along with headlights and cups and door handles. Totalled out with tax at just a little above $1200. Quite a bit cheaper than some other places that I got quotes from. Auto Design in Ft. Worth. I've used them before for decaling of govt. vehicles. Looking at finishing up with a ceramic coat now.

Thanks so much! If/when our beast ever shows up, I'll speak to them first.
Did you end up getting PPF or ceramic done around DFW? If so, where from and have you been happy? Thx!
