If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Anyone buy an extended warranty on the Telluride?

Wait I thought the warranty was 10 years or 100,000 miles?!

Powertrain is. Not everything, say like certain electronics that are very important to the vehicle. Kia factory warranty is not a bumper to bumper 10yr/100k. Research it and make an educated/informed decision on if you need/want one or not.

Just got the Telly today, used the Muncie treatment as well ($1647 pricing, forgot it was cheaper) … and Kia Fort Bend (Texas) brought the price down to $1536 from $3300.

Debating if I should buy an extended warranty on my Telluride SX. Not worried as much about the car as I am about all the electronics.

If you bought one, which one and how much? How is the coverage?
We got the 10y bumper to bumper for $2,100. We got it down from $2,750. Glad we got it for peace of mind with tech since it’s only a 3y warranty for that.

Hey, thanks for sharing this tidbit. I just bought my car thru Kia Fort Bend. Am now looking into extended warranty and Lojack(?).

I wonder if Fort Bend will do extended warranties for people out of state. Was this the same 10 year 100k mile warranty offered by Muncie?

Does anyone have a list of the "6,000 authorized service providers" for the Muncie Fidelity warranty?

how come nobody mentions the "other services", like Endurance?

anyway, I found one of the reviews for Fidelity:

and Consumer Affairs is not very favorable towards them:

I can ask if they do it for out of state. Yes the same Platinum as Muncie.

I confirmed that they do provide extended warranties for those out of state. Good deal.

I believe that the Muncie referred to Fidelity ”warranty” is the official Kia Distinction Vehicle Service Contract that can be found on their website here (https://www.kia.com/us/content/dam/.../marketing/CS11780KiaAdditiveTermbrochure.pdf). Note that at the bottom of the first page, it was updated 03/2021 and states that

“The Kia Distinction Vehicle Service Contract is administered by
Fidelity Warranty Services, Inc., P.O. Box. 8567 Deerfield Beach, FL 33443 . Florida License # 60026.”

I bought an extended VSC on my 2010 Pilot (8 year, 120k) when I first bought it (also used an out-of-state dealership in MA) and it paid for itself over when I had a broken axle 6 years in. Just my $0.02.

Hope this helps!

After reading the reviews on Fidelity, I have some questions? What does anyone else thinks? just asking.

We are looking into being able to offer an extended warranty for Forum Members on Telluride. Please let me know if anyone is interested? We would like to gauge what interest might be before we go any further. Thank you.
I am interested and have tried reaching out to Jason Fox about getting my extended warranty. Is he no longer with Kia Of Muncie? Could someone please contact me?

Thanks for the tips. I heard from Lucas but waiting to get the contract from Craig and I’m not sure how long that will take. It’s been a few days. I will reach out again tomorrow if I dont hear back.

Our dealer offers a lifetime a LIFETIME powertrain warranty through CNA National INCLUDED with every deal.

We can add the CNA National LIFETIME Bumper to Bumper Warranty for $3,300 more.

Has anyone added this warranty or had a dealer offer a LIFETIME bumper to bumper. Kia of Muncie is closed right now, but does anyone know if I can take the current dealers Lifetime Powertrain at no cost and add the bumper to bumper life time wrap for less from another dealer?

I would think the lifetime powertrain should be included regardless if you purchase the bumper to bumper. I mean if you don't purchase theirs and purchase another elsewhere how would they know? I purchased one from my dealership for $1877 zero deductible because I want some peace of mind with all the electronics but I'm going to be cancelling that one and going with an AUL policy I received from Your Advocate Alliance (YAA) for $1392 with $100 deductible. I'm hoping I won't have to use it a lot since I'd be using it mostly for what is not covered under the included 10 year 100k mile Kia warranty.
