  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Anyone buy an extended warranty on the Telluride?

You're not going to find anyone who can beat Craig and Muncie price! Just get it from them and be done with it
Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate Muncie for what they are doing and their upfront pricing. I promote them when I can. However, most dealers will(and should) price match Muncie for EW. Muncie is not giving away these EW's, most (not so greedy) dealers will be happy with profit they would make with price match. I know some prefer to get EW from their purchasing dealer to put the EW on the loan. 🤷‍♂️

What people don't often know, is they do not have to buy EW from the same dealer. If the dealer will not price match, they can decline the EW and call Muncie after they buy the car.

I tried that with my dealer, they wouldnt not match the price. So off to Craig I went.

You are correct. I was glad I found this Forum before buying. I waited to see what my dealer offered me for the EW and it was almost double what Muncie was offering. I said no thanks, that's way to high, so they came down a little bit. That is when I dropped the Forum and Muncie price on them. By the look of the finance guys face, I think he was aware of it. So they offered the EW at $50 over what Muncie was offering. That was close enough for me so I went with that

Does the EW you purchased have a $0 deductible?

I'm pretty sure deductible depends on what tier EW plan you purchase. I think no deductible with premium tier.

Don’t put the EW on your vehicle loan - Muncie will finance it at 24 months 0 % saving even more $$$.

Personally I pay my EW upfront. I was just stating some people like to do that for the convenience. I did not know Muncie had 0% for 24 months, that is good to know.

Debating if I should buy an extended warranty on my Telluride SX. Not worried as much about the car as I am about all the electronics.

If you bought one, which one and how much? How is the coverage?

Cancel it now and work with Kia of Muncie - you'll cut the cost in half and have zero deductible. Search Muncie in this forum.

I agree. You got ripped off!

Ouch! $64x48=$3072, which is bit more compared to Muncie. I really don't think pro-rated refund at 9th year is going to be "large". Check with your EW for exact amount and never take your dealer's word for it.
We will see, but if anything electrical goes wrong money well spent.

He’s saying you could have gotten at least the same coverage for less cost

Could of should of didn't, This reminds me of Space book and twatter, everyone better than the other even though those who know them know better. And let me understand, you all are fretting over 146 dollars? Here is a real math question for you. With total due including all fees and taxes was 51,134.74. 48 month loan at 436.77 with a annual percentage rate of 3.25. What was my down payment? Credit Score in top 1% in the United States.
