• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I am just wondering what people thought if they had purchased and installed the sill plates. Could you post pics of it?

Thank you!!!

I purchased and installed them myself. Took approximately 2 hours; technically not difficult, but detaching interior plastic covers is always a little nerve wracking as you don’t want to snap any of the connectors.

I think they look great, although they do not illuminate red as the catalog describes, but white. I was a little disappointed at first, but I got over it quickly. Of course, if I see it in red somewhere now, my disappointment may return lol.
Sorry, my pics aren’t that clear, but it gives you the idea.

Wish mine came with the illuminated door sill but am looking to purchasing it later on. How much did they run you?

They were around $270 online from a northern dealership. That also includes the non illuminating rear door sills that say Telluride on them.

Can you share a PDF of the install instructions?

Thanks in advance.

SWEET! Thanks for sharing!

Enlarged each step to a full page, so ends up 31 pages long; but, much easier to read - well for my old eyes anyway...

I’m having my dealership install these at factory cost of $310 bucks when my car arrives to the dealership. I’m so excited and ecstatic with how they look in the photos posted on here!

Just spent a few hours this morning installing Illuminated Telluride Door Sills.

Level of installation difficulty would be 4 out of 10. Instructions were easy to read and precise.

This looks great! Mine come in this week, will likely use these for reference. Thanks!

Just installed. I'm kind of ashamed how much these cost for something to simple. But i do like them, and such an easy install. I don't get why they weren't or aren't standard.

(Please don't mind the dirt)

They look good. Nice job with the install. I'm debating whether I want to get these and install them myself. The standard skid plates aren't bad but these really pop! :)
I'd recommend them. Easy install, took maybe 20 minutes.

Here are the instructions (i found from another post) if it helps make your decision. Easily done without pages 5-6 and having to remove those pieces.

Thank you. 20 minutes sounds good.

Installed the new door illuminated scuff plate this week. They look really good and I encourage anyone to install. Took me about an hour to install and I was able to purchase on Ebay for under $200.

Ha anyone purchased the illuminated door sills and installed and connected them at the rear doors? Is it even possible?

The rear match the front but with no illumination - not available.

I'm sure they can be installed in all Telly's, so have you tried yet? My curiosity concerns finding the power supply for the front plates. Have you or anyone else figured this out?

Nice, I'm right behind you. Can you tell me if the power source was easy to locate for each front plate? And do you know if all Telly models have that supply in place? I have an EX, non-premium.
