Not sure if that is correct and rather doubt it. Maybe they were referring to the next KFOS opening in some way? Did they tell you about wait times? If you are not converting your '22 order to a '23, then that could be easily a 9-12 month wait.
I’m curious as to when you will receive yours since I ordered my X-SX-P (GWP/terra) on 3/7 and as of 10/18 I was told I was #40 in line. I have a hard time believing that they received 34 orders in the week between our orders, which makes me wonder if it is down to trims allocations. But my trim and interior color combo seem to be a unicorn per failcat.
The only time frame my rep could give me was “hopefully by the end of the year”.I’m pretty sure by now that it goes by trim allocations. I’m following Failcat closely. I have the same spec as yours except for the Prestige package. There have been 5 of them so far so mine should be the next one. Sounds similar to me. I ordered an SX-P (Moss Green/Dune Brown with Tow package) on 2/5. I updated my order on 10/1 to an SX-P (MLB/Navy/Gray with Tow Package). They showed me the list and said I was #30. They did say that the tow package was not available, but they still had it on the order. I think that might be holding mine up. But on Tuesday I saw a ton of X-SPs with tow packages come up. They are just putting on the self-level shocks and not the hitch & lights. Let me know if you hear anything on yours. I would be fine dropping the tow package if the order can be changed and it would help. Congrats, what a nice surprise! Patiently waiting for that call myself. Did you get any add-ons you didn’t order? Read about that here and doesn’t seem to be uncommon. Please share pics after you pick it up - thanks!
They did add carpeted for mats for $210, which I didn't order. Will post pics when I pick it up.
Not from Butler but from Fusz. I ordered in March, reordered when it was switched to a 2023 and received it last week.

I am generally fine with checking in with my sales person via text once a month or so. What kinda bugs me is that I went with them (Butler) because I assumed from their initial wait time estimate (think it was 3-6 months vs 4-6 with Fusz) that I'd be getting mine sooner. Shortly after I placed my initial order, I was told that it typically is a 6 month wait. When I converted my order to a '23, I reached out to them right after the rumors here on the forum turned out to be true. I was told I'd be getting mine "soon". That was 2.5 months ago. I don't feel being strung along and understand that dealerships are at the mercy of the mothership but starting to wonder about what is really going on.
I may be wrong, but I think I saw a VIN in failcat with the specs if your order.

Sounds like your rep told you where you are in line overall, so regardless of trim level? My rep told me, when I switched my order to a '23 at the end of September, that I was No 6 in line. I ordered a SX X-Line. According to Failcat, Butler received 5 so far and all of them appeared in Failcat in October. So technically, the next one should be mine. How the allocations work is still a big mystery to me...
