• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Have a 2020 Telluride S. Car play has worked since day one. This morning went to use it and the Car play logo was ghosted out. I tried unplugging and plugging my USB and I did receive message my phone was connected, but music would only play via Bluetooth. My plan is to try a new cable and if that does not work try removing my car from Car play and re-adding it. Any other suggestions?

Likely changing to a certified made for iPhone (MFI) cable will do the trick.

Another problem could be a bad connection on the phone’s lightning port. Take a toothpick and scrape the inside of your lighting port avoiding the pins on the flat sides. If there is any lint preventing the jack from sitting all the way inside, this should clear it up.
