• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... So, I noticed that if you're listening to music/media via Apple CarPlay and you manually skip/rewind songs/tracks, you'll get a drop-down notification in the center cluster display showing the artist and song name currently playing. However, if you let the song/track finish, you don't get a notification when the next song/track starts.

Does this bug anyone else? I personally find it annoying because I usually have Google Maps or Waze up on the infotainment screen, so the only way to see the song info is to switch the infotainment screen over to "Now Playing" and then switch back to Google Maps or Waze. That, or manually rewind the track after a few seconds so that the info pops up on the center cluster.

I know it's a seemingly minor thing, but the inconsistency of functionality is annoying, especially since the system is clearly capable of doing it.

It is difficult to ascertain whether the bug resides, could be KIA or Apple Carplay.

I *think* that this has to do with the vehicle telling you that you did an action and explaining what the action caused, so that you keep your eyes on the road, whereas, if the song changes by itself, you didn't touch a button, so you could not possibly have touched a wrong button to cause an action.
