Interesting. Honestly, I hadn't noticed. My muscle memory is to look at the screen rather than the HUD for nav info. I'll have to check it out.For the SXP owners with the HUD who use the built-in navigation. Do you find the icon used for highway exits lame/unintuitive?
When I am 5 miles out or more from my next exit, I get the straight arrow on my HUD, which makes sense. Go straight for 5 more miles before arriving at the exit.
But when I dip to 4.9 miles and lower, the HUD displays a 45 degree right arrow (similar to the one on screen below). Which, to me, is not really intuitive at all. Makes it look like I should be bearing right or heading northeast for the next 4.9 miles.

I am guessing this is the official v15.0 icon used for right-lane highway exit. They have a much better graphic that shows an offramp with a curving arrow (both on screen and HUD), but it only shows up when you are about to take the exit. I wish they’d drop the use of this 45 degree right arrow and either use the better looking offramp graphic or stick with the straight arrow up until the exit.
Just my little gripe with the built-in nav.![]()
Mine are not mismatched. Works fine.Just installed the update and wow is the radio interface terrible. Is anyone else noticing that some SiriusXM station icons are mismatched?
Most are fine, but if you go to station 120 you see a BBC logo instead of a College Sports Nation logo? I saw at least 1 or 2 others I believe.Mine are not mismatched. Works fine.
I stream music from Spotify on my iPhone and sometimes the artwork will be missing from songs.
I wonder whether the data are being repopulated after the update. If it hasn’t resolved in 48 hours, I would complain for sure. Most are fine, but if you go to station 120 you see a BBC logo instead of a College Sports Nation logo? I saw at least 1 or 2 others I believe.
On occasion, Sirius XM uses an existing station to broadcast a sporting event. They do that with BBC sometimes (which is normally what station 120 is). Maybe that's what was going on. My station 120 shows a BBC logo and broadcasts BBC as expected. Regardless, it's not a Kia issue. Most are fine, but if you go to station 120 you see a BBC logo instead of a College Sports Nation logo? I saw at least 1 or 2 others I believe.
If you installed the map update, you’re done. It’s an all-encompassing update. Can someone please explain what I'm doing wrong? I installed the map update no problem (it took hours). When I go to install the firmware update, I get file type not supported. I downloaded the zip file form the website, extracted and sent the DAUDIO folder to my newly formatted USB 3.0 flash drive. I see the files on the drive, so what did I do incorrectly?
that makes sense thank you!If you installed the map update, you’re done. It’s an all-encompassing update.
If you’re trying to install the Display Audio update, the reason that doesn’t work is because it isn’t for you. That’s for 8” head unit models (2020 and 2021 LX and S).
Yesterday I installed the new update. I thought it was only an update to navigation and POIs. Boy was I wrong. This update also changes the entire user interface for the worse. The new interface is channel based, You need to know the channel number for Sirius XM presets....as they are listed on the bottom as SXM 111 SXM 123 SXM 144 ...etc. And you can no longer put them in the order you like as before. The radio screen is a graphic of an old tube radio with orange numbers in the tube for the channel number. The SXM channel description is in small type and worse, the song/track titles are truncated at something like 30 characters....and the box with the text info is very small. They have this huge screen and they have to truncate. Really lazy programming. You will quickly tire of the "tube" graphic which does nothing and you also will miss the customized graphic for each Sirius channel 'cause it's also gone.I’ve heard rumors that Kia will update its infotainment firmware this month. Anyone have any details? I haven’t even received my Telly yet and I’m dreading the purple layout and even more dreadful and childish looking radio screen with the vacuum tubes. The three screen layout and nice XM screen in the previous version is one of the things I loved. Please say they’re going to fix this?
Interesting. I found 10 pages worth of information in this forum stating the new interface was pretty much worthless and that you should avoid the upgrade.Yesterday I installed the new update. The three widgets at the sign on screen are gone. You can no longer have three different widgets showing.
First thing I did is search for a way to put it back the way it was. It can't be done. This is a huge mistake by KIA and they need to fix it. Boy am I sorry I did this.
My STRONG advice is to not upgrade.

There was a workaround for that issue, it requires pushing just one more button, no need for the update.Agree it's crap, but my UVO navigation stopped working, forced me to update.
If you play with it a bit more, you may find an acceptable setup. For me, I keep my map in the left two-thirds (whether I'm actively navigating to a destination or not). I keep the radio in the right one-third panel. Then I simply cycle through the presets using the up-down button on the steering wheel. I have actually found this to be a great default. I never see the radio tubes nor the new home screen.Yesterday I installed the new update. I thought it was only an update to navigation and POIs. Boy was I wrong.
