First let me say hello to everyone. I picked up a 2025 Telluride S about a month about and first upgrade is the audio system. Excuse this long message in advance. From the research I've conducted on this forum I understand that my Telluride is non HK therefore does not have an amplifier. I've searched all over the vehicle just verify and found nothing other than the control module for the cluster/infotainment under the dash above the gas pedal. I tapped into the speaker wires red/blue green/orange passenger kick panel and brown/white blue/yellow drivers side. Here's where the fun begins. When I use the front wires brown/white red/blue to feed LOC the signal is ok but a bit noisy. If I use the rear wires green/orange blue/yellow to feed a LOC one channel of the LOC is average volume but the other is excruciating loud. I've tried LOC's from wavtech, Audiocontrol LC2i, the built in LOC in the Epicenter Micro and lastly a JL Audio FiX-86. If I use the front channels from the radio feeding the FiX I can get it to calibrate but when I use the read channels it does not and will not calibrate. It will go into clipping based on the one channel I mentioned above. Currently I am using the front channels to feed the FiX and then on the TWK and then the amps. This bring me to a few questions, has anyone else experienced this issue? Has anyone else run into noise issues? I am running my power wire 0AWG down the drivers side of the car under the carpet. The noise I am hearing is not alternator noise, to be honest it sounds like data transmission rf interferance. If I unplug the RCA's at the FiX it goes away. I've swapped RCA's 3x. I would really like to resolve the issue with the speaker wires so I can feed the FiX 4 channels (for fading). I'd appreciate any advice.
