August order-still 3 more months?

I have a verified order for an SXP in August 24th from Findlay Kia Las Vegas. I spoke to the manager today as it has been 5 months. I was told maybe 3 more months!! This seems crazy to me. I asked on here before if they were a low volume dealership and I was told no, but I don’t see very many SXP’s on the spreadsheet for them. I asked how many SXP orders are in front of me with no answer. I didn’t know Kia’s ordering system worked the way it does when I ordered.

Wow that is ridiculous. I ordered a SXP Black Copper w Dune interior on 8/22. My first ETA was 2/20 but has been pushed back a week. New ETA 2/27

Did you get the paper work from KIA with specific date of each assembly step, or just a verbal ETA from the dealership?

Ridiculous, at some point I would think that you might want to have a discussion w/ Kia consumer affairs. Some on here will just say to be patient and wait, that this is between you and the dealer... however you have been and nobody is willing to tell you how many are ahead of you and they are just guessing at another 3 month timeline.

You will know if they start building yours via the spread sheet/website soon. Once the window sticker is generated I think everything is predictable. Hope you get yours in time. BTW, I ordered exactly combination as yours, body in date at 2/3, we will know very soon.

That seems a bit fishy. What exactly did you order? Have you checked the spreadsheet on the forum to see if they received a vehicle spec'd like your order? Because that's way too long - They have had 118 total allocations since March (through 1/13) and 25 of which have been Prestige - that's a good ratio. Your order should have been fulfilled by now unless they had a bunch of orders for Prestige in front of you. Keep pestering them - talk with fleet manager. Your salesperson will likely not be helpful.

The file below has helped others. It is a csv file import into a spreadsheet. These are the gravity gray / gray interior SXPs that have been built in January (many are likely in transit). You could call these dealerships to see if one is available - or if a buyer backs out on it. Nothing too close to California though, so would involve transport costs.

Findlay hasn't had any Gravity Grey SXPs allocated to them since June... so the only explanation is that there were a bunch of orders for SXPs in front of you - or they weren't ordering correctly in the KFOS system.
