  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Previously, I reported that the dealership in Covina has marked up a wolf grey nightfall by $10k. Today, I went to Alhambra Kia and they had a gravity grey ex nightfall similarly marked up by $10k . This is not looking good. While I wont be ready to buy for a month or so, I just might have to go out of state, as I refuse to pay the ransom to these thieves. Has anyone else from Calif. done this? Are there any problems registering in Calif? Sales tax issues? Thanks!

Hilltop kia in Richmond (SF Bay Area) doesn't charge markups but you will need to place a KFOS order and wait for it to be fulfilled. Give them a call

2nd hilltop Kia. Moe is my sales person. Great guy to deal with. I think the wait is about 6 months. Suggest you consider getting on the list right away for msrp

As I answered tersely in your other post "No". I have bought new cars out of state and brought back to CA with no issues. The DMV will collect the sales tax. Some dealers won't sell to you though. Find one that will sell out of state to CA.

I third Hilltop Kia, they were awesome and I got an SX at MSRP in less than 3 months. However, their order books are filling up quick, so don't waste any time getting in line (y)
