  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... This is only my second day on this forum, so you will have to excuse my naivete . I just went to the Kia dealership in West Covina to look at a Wolf Grey Telluride. The sticker was about $50k, and they wanted a ten thousand dollar markup!!!!! Really? Did all of you owners have to pay this ransom? I told the salesperson I wasn't going to pay that kind of extortion, and walked off the lot. If this is the norm, then I'm just going to have to wait until dealers are willing to be fair, or I'll have to find another vehicle. What are your experiences?

Welcome to the Telluride Forum. Yes, many of us have seen the insane dealer markups, but have been able to find a number of dealers who sell at MSRP if you're willing to wait for your order to go into the system. There's many of us here who have found better deals out of state.

Don't despair. There's help here and with a little patience, you can find a new Telluride without paying the highway robbery prices. I'm ordering my SX-P at MSRP and many others here are too. Stick around :)

I second Justin, look around for a different dealer. Heck, I had to do that back in the day when I lived in Santa Barbara.

The short answer is yes, a lot of dealers are charging markups and ppl are paying it. Use this forum's tools and you'll find a dealer willing to play ball. GL

Search will be your friend here. I was only able to find two dealers in CA that sell at MSRP. Good luck! I refuse to pay over MSRP as well and its hard enough even paying MSRP at that!
